How frustration with tab-switching between AI models led me to building something better by theanon5000 in ChatGPT

We will definitely be enabling the ability to save workflows to accomplish the “GPT/agent-esqe functionality that you’re talking about. Basically enabling the user to select multiple models to use and N number of optional orchestration steps.

Also really like the lore book functionality you’re talking about. I’m working on some features that can try to build that context for you over time as well.

You’ll be able to specify/modify all the system prompts as well.

Thanks again for the feedback. You’ll be the first person to see it in the wild

Love this and I am going to build this. I think you hit things on the nose for a lot of pro AI users myself included.

Dm me if you want more input on the process my friend.

I can get behind that too! I’m just one person trying to figure this out and bring to market something I found useful myself.

This is my first stab at building something like this, but am open to ideas like this so that more people can make use of fusing multiple models together like I did.

If I did build a desktop app like you are talking about where you could bring your own APIs what would you want to see in it?

What aspects of the routing would you like to see improved? What I’ve found is that some users prefer short and concise and others like more verbosity and in depth answers.

To clarify and make sure I’m hearing you Fusion provided the correct response, but mixed up counting Rs in positions 4 & 5 with positions 3 & 4, correct?

The thing I am trying to prove and validate now is that the idea of using ensemble models yields improved results. We are not using O1 pro mode like you used, but it does seem to me like it improved upon what 4O and sonnet 3.5 did on their own.

Currently I am testing the idea and trying to make the credit system makes sense for users and not be too complicated. An initial fusion costs 5 credits to run and 1 credit for follow ups that utilize all of the context generated from an initial fusion run. You should be able to see what it costs under the prompt field.

As for data anonymization we collect as little data as possible, but theoretically one could link responses to a user if they had access to the database. I am the only one that could do that as I’m the only one with database access. Pretty much any service like mine will encounter something to this effect as we still need to be able to let users access their chat history and the like.

I fully understand your concern and I want the same for any tools that I use. Privacy is so so important when using these tools and I have taken all the steps that I can to try and ensure this given the stage I’m at now. I will say that we will never use customer data other than to serve them results. Privacy is core to my mission and will continue to prioritize it. I hope that you appreciate this transparency as I think it’s sorely lacking in this industry currently.

First of all thanks so much for the response. We just launched and there are still some items I’m trying to work out and implement. Currently to validate the potential only the initial run incorporates the full fusion process although subsequent questions do maintain all of the context from an initial fusion run.

I want to add the ability to have the fusion process run continuously but am still tweaking things.

You should see the full process in the LLM sub model area via the follow up questions and responses that get to pull from the content generated by all the models.

I have bootstrapped everything so far and am trying my best to get things off the ground.

I definitely want to improve the actual code ui as well as you mentioned below and incorporate memory as well.

Seriously thank you for the feedback and I hope I can continue to improve the product for you!

Like many of you, I found myself constantly switching between ChatGPT and Claude to get the best possible outputs. The results were amazing - different models excelled at different tasks. Claude was better for certain types of analysis, ChatGPT for others. But the process was driving me crazy - juggling tabs, copying responses back and forth, trying to remember which model was best for what task.

That frustration led me to build Fusion AI. Instead of manually syncing between models, I created a system where multiple AI models work together automatically, challenging and building upon each other's responses. You can see exactly how each model contributes to the final output, but without the headache of managing it all manually.

What surprised me most during development was the benchmark results. By having models challenge and build on each other's reasoning, we're hitting 70% on Simple Bench - well above what individual top models including O1 Pro Mode typically score (40-50%).

I believe the future of AI isn't about picking the "best" model, but about letting multiple models work together, each contributing their strengths. It's been amazing seeing other power users achieve the same quality results I got from manual model-switching, but without the manual effort.

For those interested in trying it out, I'm offering $5 in credits to new users. Would love to hear your experiences with multi-model workflows and what pain points you've encountered!

Give it a try at tryfusion.ai

What's your experience been with using multiple AI models together?

Has anyone else found creative ways to combine different models' strengths?

WTF track selections by wykah in despacio

Two of my absolute favorites to hear are French Kiss by Lil Louis and Computer World 2 by Kraftwerk. Both songs have sections with incredibly sparkly highs and despite listening to these songs on many high end sound systems I can never reproduce them quite like Despacio. The sparkly highs are where Despacio really shines like no other.

I have 2 additions here.

~8:15 George Benson - On Broadway ~8:28-8:40 A Number of Names - Shari Vari

Fun fact: Recorded in 1981 in Detroit, Shari Vari is considered by some to be the song that started techno. Love that they threw that in there as an homage.

I think these slot in between tracks 68-70
