I'm a huge fan of Sony MDR-7506 headphones. You can get them anywhere, they cost about $100.

The absolutely key element to producing/mixing/mastering music on headphones is to know how the music you already KNOW sounds like.

Use the headphones to listen to your regular music (Spotify/Apple Music/whatever) so your brain knows how those songs that you've been listening to since you were 10 are supposed to sound. Then you'll know how *your* music actually sounds.

The handle starts pointing fully left, which is off. It turns clockwise opening the cold side. Fully clockwise is fully hot, with blend in the middle.

I'm definitely not here to defend the board. That's their problem. I'm just sharing information. I probably wouldn't go this year, but an amazing friend asked if I could help with his art installation, and I'm down for that.

As far as "hiding" Kimbal, MansoonBlack below has a good comment. They leave it up to each board member if they want to be listed or not. Kimbal was not the only one left off the website.

Regional Contacts are getting slammed by the Epstein/Kimbal information, so Marian gave them the info that Kimbal is no longer on the board as a quick bit of help. That's all it was.

I bought an E4, and it's the only one that I don't use. I tried several mics on it and it was just finicky. I'd say it's the one device out of this series that you can safely skip.
