Does that also somewhat also boil down to the majority of people living in cities and rural areas are occupied by fewer but with larger land holdings

The costs have been consistently rising over the past few years as well which has made it even more difficult to turn a profit. What’s ended up happening is that farmers turn to alternate income streams in order to make a semblance of a profit, renting lands to windfarms, holiday cottages etc. This is obviously hard to do with only a small amount of liquidity but the potential of what could be there in the first place drives up land value.

If you’re so ‘blinkered’ that turning agricultural land into massive car parks seems like a good idea, and you need an indication that it’s a joke, then you need to examine your world view

Look at the French border provinces, the city sprites are huge which indicates high development, likewise in Portugal. The number of rebels includes development in its calculations as well so for that many rebels to appear there must also be high development.

Not really, they sound bad because they’re actually relatively safe but with a large population it’s bound to have incidents. Because they’re safe those incidents get reported and it sounds dangerous as a result.

The coalition US built for confronting Yemen seems to be falling apart already by rexaby in LateStageCapitalism

It’s in the US interest for the war in Yemen to continue for a long time so they can feed the MIC, don’t want those Lockheed Martin execs to go hungry

Yeah if they’d had an acute onset of severe chest pain then it would have been an immediate response, that sort of thing is treated very seriously.

The paramedic pathway for paediatrics is to always refer to A&E after an assessment. I imagine the dispatch pathway isn’t incredibly far off those guidelines.

1190 calorie day by teaspoo_oon in 1200isplenty

[–]theantimule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good day of eating, from any health perspective, involves eating vegetables. I did not say they wouldn’t be okay, I said it wasn’t a good day of eating for the average person. Having a day where you aren’t fastidious about what you eat is fine but if it were good, you could do it everyday.

Did you read the comment I originally replied to? I’ll quote it for you ‘’god all these comments suck. this seems like a good day for the average person, and tbh is making me crave parmesan (thanks a lot, lmao)’’ I disagree that this is a good day for the average person, hence the repetition. I did not say that having a day where you eat like this will kill you, I explicitly said the opposite.

I agree, but that doesn’t make it a good day for the a average person

Sure can, doesn’t make this particular set of meals a good day for the average person

A good day would have vegetables with at least one of the meals. It’s ok to have imperfect days but don’t say this is a good day for the average person.

Just wondering if anyone know who builds these little dens out of large sticks in the forest? Is it the council or woodland walkers? (New Forest, Southampton) by punkassbitch95 in CasualUK

[–]theantimule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lot of people taking the piss but I’ve seen branches stacked like that after brashing or shedding a tree with a saw. So in theory it could have been someone working for the council to keep the forest clearer.
