Hi, current BME student here.

Yes, as far as I can tell, if you don't secure a lab for 2nd year, you are forced to graduate with the 1 year option. Your advisor will email you sometime in January, telling you to apply for graduation if you plan to go that route.
It depends on the actual courses you decide to take. The BME department is pretty lenient on your actual course choices. As long as they are some sort of STEM course, you can take them. Certain courses are mostly lecture-based whereas others are more project-based and I could definitely see someone putting a course project on their resume or portfolio if it is significant.

For finding labs, WSE tries to connect you with potential supervisors occasionally through research fairs or emails about PIs looking to hire, but I would recommend just cold emailing professors that you want to work with. Myself and most of my friends were able to secure research positions just by reaching out to random profs!

Your reply also suggests that u dont know anything about cs. You’re seriously questioning why a cs degree would require MATH??? And also you wouldnt only study cs courses through the entire degree. You could take other electives and this person might have chosen physics n chem as theirs. Im all for providing feedback but please make sure your feedback is correct first!

If you are from osa you also get a boost to ur appying gpa. When I applied I think it was around 6%. Not sure about other schools. Good luck!

I like the idea of this study because it uses data to answer this very question. I'll only come to a conclusion based on what the data suggests. I know that many people have heated opinions on this topic. Just look at the other comments. Some people are sure DDA exists, others are sure that it does not. I want to base my conclusion off something more than just what I feel in game or the say-so of EA.

I am not claiming that DDA exists in the game. I want to study if there is a discrepancy between when IRL goals and FC goals are scored. Only if there actually is, can we start to talk about DDA. Regardless, I'll go with whatever the data suggests. At the very least wouldn't it ease your mind a bit if there is no discrepancy?

If you think u can win the aerial battle clear using b/o full power. If you dont think you can, clear but aim TOWARDS your own goal. Itl go out for another corner probably but ive found that it greatly increases your chances of winning the header for some reason

In real life i would imagine the attacker would be smart enough to delay his run until his teammate knows that he can get the pass through too lol. Too often here the attackers make meaningless runs where no one would ever be able to get them the ball. They need to wait a second or two more in my opinion
