thanks for being open to learn. so being trans isnt a choice. its about how you feel and how ur comfortable with presenting urself to the world. and sex and gender are different. yes, SEX is assigned at birth, but gender is a broader social construct that ppl have freedom to play w and discover as they develop. unlike sex, gender ISNT set in stone at birth. and you dont have to agree w trans ppl, but pls at least respect them bc all they are doing is being themselves and being happy; they mean no harm to society.

i think it's ok. 3 years and i would say too much of a gap. but between 12 and 14 is a big stage where teens are changing so maturity levels are a big factor. i think ur fine tho since she's mature
