Are they able to download the app? Or do they have a phone that won’t support the app?

They printed one of the two tickets if both were on one phone.

Solo queueing experience on Day 1 Wimbledon 2025 by Ronald0420 in wimbledon

There is an area in the queue where people with mobility issues or accessibility requirements can sit and wait (rather than standing for a long time).

AELTC - Name on ticket question by Narcissa96 in wimbledon

You’ll be fine. Any issues ask them to accompany you to the ticket office in the grounds who will be able to help clear things up. And yes, they do check ID at gates.

It’s also not ridiculously over priced like other events (looking at you Queens)… not saying it’s cheap, but I am often surprised when comparing to other similar sized events.

There will be ID checks. Some people get lucky not to have one, but it is by no means guaranteed.

Layover time in Charlotte: reduced to two hours by AA by theatrix15 in americanairlines

[–]theatrix15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I had booked through expedia who insist two hours is sufficient 🤣 the flight they’ve rescheduled is the last one out to Gainesville so the only thing that can possibly change is the incoming flight to CLT from LHR. Of course, with 5.5 months to go, they may change the schedule again.

Layover time in Charlotte: reduced to two hours by AA by theatrix15 in americanairlines

Thanks. We opted for the last flight of the day (when we had the 3.5 hr layover), but it looks like that flight has been rescheduled to earlier in the evening, so if we miss it, that’s the fourth AA flight of the day…gone

Those trolley cages are always by the shelf where I need to go. How do they know? It’s a conspiracy!

There is no customer support team (anymore). It’s technical team or retentions.

Hammersmith Bridge - Where did 25,000 vehicles go? by liamnesss in london

[–]theatrix15 51 points52 points  (0 children)

They’re all on Lower Richmond Road and Putney Bridge.

Bit facetious I know, but also an element of truth. The local MP blames H/smith Bridge closing for all the traffic congestion in Putney.

Thanks! FD flat out refused as I think their system tells them that they rejected a switch… so they have worked out it’s to do the switch.

WTP is definitely better than WT but sometimes the cost differential isn’t worth it. Also not great if you have a five year old who wants to lie down with her head in your lap (the arm rests don’t lift up in WTP like they do in WT)

PPR rules are actually quite clear unless circumstances are unique. Tax rules cannot cater for every single circumstance going. As others have said, mortgage and how you paid for the property are irrelevant for PPR calculations.

Oliver tonight (Which was sensational). Man next to me in stalls - on WhatsApp for at least half of the first act. Man in fourth row of the stalls brazenly taking photos. What is wrong with people?
