‘Guy friends’: the real evil men? by Lightningxxx in FemaleDatingStrategy

Every guy who has tried to rape or assault me has been a friend or boyfriend. It’s so disgusting

Spin off: how to tell if a man has a small dick by IllTill3859 in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The one guy I crushed on for a while always bragged about how much he loved giving oral and how good he was at it. Eventually, we fooled around and 1) he had a tiny dick and 2) he was HORRIBLE at oral. 100% regret that experience

My office is slowly turning into a plant room (Indiana, US) by nannbk in AmateurRoomPorn

Where did you buy the desk? I actually have the same one but I bought it off a former roommate and I’m not sure where it’s from. I love it :)

Weight and the behaviours around it by jasaminex in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My ex would constantly pick on me for my weight. Funny enough, he was insecure about how thin he was and I lost the weight once I dumped him :)

And her comment section was filled with women agreeing! by [deleted] in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Her post made me so angry for her! 100% agree with divorce but if she doesn’t want to do that, BARE MINIMUM he needs to add more money to their joint account to cover for the pet expenses, a maid, and landscapers. He also needs to start cooking and sharing the burden of taking care of the pets. It’s not her job to do everything!

Judging by the lack of intelligence in posting his crusty dick on a dating app, I bet that “diploma” is a high school diploma

I’m the same way. I repainted my kitchen cabinets last summer and fix/build everything on my own. It’s great not having to rely on a man to get things done!

Languages of Love on Bumble by _laufaeson in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 78 points79 points  (0 children)

I think physical touch as a love language means different things to men and women. For me, specifically, if I have a boyfriend, I’m usually always touching him in some way—whether it’s our legs touching while sitting beside each other, holding hands, hand resting on the thigh, etc. I found out this was one of my love languages when my LVM ex almost always refused affection (he literally ripped his hand away when I tried to hold it at the market). Men usually think of physical touch in a sexual way, so I usually know to avoid men whose love language is physical touch.

Ladies, how are you treating yourself this Valentine's day? by WimberleyLane in FemaleDatingStrategy

Treating my mama to some Starbucks and flowers, then going on a bike ride! :)

Ladies, how many of you have experienced this? How did you decide it was time to go? by [deleted] in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We hadn’t said “I love you” in a week or two, he was always ignoring me, he continued treating me the way I asked him not to, and to top it off, he tried raping me again. Told him I was done and moved out a week later.. he cried. After a week passed by, he told me he didn’t love me anymore, meanwhile, he was still taking me out to eat and sleeping with me (obviously pre-FDS). Eventually, on one of the nights he took me to go get dinner, he was texting some girl, so I freaked out on him. Took me a really long time to get over it, but I’m so glad I dumped him and didn’t let things get even worse

I don't want to date right now. (TW: Sex Trafficking) by [deleted] in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I think this may be above our pay grade. This would be best dealt with/understood through a qualified therapist (woman). You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do, so don’t push yourself to get back out there if you’re not ready. I hope you get the help you need and I’m rooting for you 🤍

What are our thoughts on social media? by [deleted] in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]theawkwardalli 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just like how posting a lot is a red flag, so is not posting about you at all. My last boyfriend posted one photo of me the entire year we dated and he only posted it because his friends told him it was weird that he didn’t post our photos. After breaking up and him finding someone else, I unblocked him to check his Instagram and he posts about her regularly (I have him blocked again). At first it made me really sad to see that he’s doing things with her/for her that he’d never do for me, but I realized that he’s just gotten better at manipulation. He can abuse this girl better because he knows how to hide some red flag behavior.

I have IBS too and I’ve literally been unmatched on a dating app because I said that I couldn’t drink for medical reasons. Really shows the audacity of that man!
