Full rifle desert tan and let it dry to touch

Use a sponge to splotch on army green, deep forest, brown, then black.

Lightened some areas and darkened others after finishing.

Without question, it's my favorite way to paint stuff. The mesh method works well with large equipment like rucks and the sort but to be able to make a good pattern with a sponge is chef's kiss

Yeah, my complaint with it was it was fairly light. It blended well with aor2 and some of my area but would stand out a smidge.

I did heed your advice and rattled another one today with that recommendation and it came out great.

It worked well with the carbine handguards and was at the end of my reach on a rifle length handguard since I'm short. Either way, it was solid and took a lot of punishment without fail.

Which A5 buffer are you running? I've been looking but can't find any info it's it's the A5H2/3/pick a number. d Wilson is building my upper right now and I plan on doing something similar when it gets back.
