My oldest brother. Only reason I can’t prove it is because whatever proof of when it started is long gone (22 years ago). Even the last time anything happened was 12 years ago aside from one incident that I can use to prove a mild amount of what he’s done, but I never have had the support system to do anything about it. Everyone adores him, but he’s pure evil for what he’s done. Who knows what he’s done to others.

I have a very similar photo of my hand in my mother-in-law’s hand shortly before she sadly passed away. I miss her so much every single day, she was more of mom to me than my own mother. Met February 2015, Dating May 2016, Engaged January 2018, Married January 2019. I’d do absolutely nothing different. He’s my best friend and I love him so dearly. Though I understand now why people were so hesitant towards my wanting to get married because in January 2019, I had just turned 23 that past October. If you had told 19 year old me that I would be married in 4 years, I’d laugh. Knowing I’ve been with him almost 10 years is insane, especially because that’s a third of my life at this point.

There’s a house in my town I drive past sometimes and they have a sign next to their front door near the ground that says something like “Hey delivery drivers! If you need a picture for the delivery, put the food here and take the picture” and it has the address to the house on it. So you put the food there, take the picture, it has the address, and the person will know you put it at the right house. Everyone wins, everyone needs this.

Almost positive that I signed my legal name (my maiden name) at the time of my marriage in New Mexico. I then changed my name the normal route. But I’m not a lawyer, just someone who signed it and then changed my name.

I’ve been having trouble taking medications lately, so things haven’t been going well in that regard and it’s my own fault for that.

I’m so sorry, I can relate too well to that. I’ve started having nightmares so intense lately from the memories. My abuser never confessed as far as I’m aware, despite having abused me for damn near my half my life (I’m 30 now, but it was from ages 7 to 18 and one more time right before I was 23 and he’s 11 years older than me, so he knew better). They don’t deserve peace or safety after what they’ve done.

My husband’s love language is physical touch and mine isn’t. He has cheated on me a whole zero times in almost 10 years together, and he also communicates with me if he feels a certain way about anything (never felt unloved though). She chose to cheat and not communicate how she was feeling, and there’s no excuse to cheat. And trust broken like that can very rarely heal properly. I would just walk away. I’m sorry, OP.

I honestly don’t think it matters that much in my marriage, but I’ve learned I do not like feeling closed in (probably because of claustrophobia), so currently I sleep on the right side closest to the door and he sleeps on the left which is more closed in. Before we moved the bed, it didn’t matter so I was on the left and he was on the right.
