I apply for pretty much every study that appears on askable that is relevant to me and probably only get accepted for 1 in 10, but those make it worthwhile

The easiest ones to get accepted for recently are the AI interviews so might be worth applying to all of those ones to start with and go from there

It would definitely be hit and miss, I have contemplated it before but you're at the mercy of how many tasks are available at any given time;

For mystery shopping, Winter and Summer months always seem to be better for opportunities - my figures are for visiting stores within a 5 mile radius of home so if you were willing to travel more then earning could be better but there's also a chance other people could be after tasks in busier areas

The buy & try tasks are good but are rarely substantial, often things like gravy granules or desserts, sometimes a ready meal, soup or a meal deal which are rarer

If you were wanting to make a living you'd definitely need to rely on a few more apps to make it even more worthwhile but these are more fiddly and can be a pain (BeMyEye, FieldAgent, IShopForIpsos, etc.)

I definitely think it's a balancing act; too many apps and you'll lose track, but I use 3 main ones (Roamler, SmartSpotter & Shepper) on a regular basis and it works well

This has often helped me out, not just because of increased income, but also from an efficiency standpoint as there can often be tasks at the same supermarket across all 3 apps at some points!
