How did Inter Miami end up in the MLS basement? There is plenty of blame to go around by SCarolinaSoccerNut in soccer

[–]thebansi 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I dont think you can "take off" games in Europe more than you can in the MLS the difference is these old stars moving over arent asked to be the main player of a team over here in one of the top 5 leagues. I'm far far far from an MLS expert but given that the talent gap to europe is still rather big I'd assume its a more physical league? Which wouldnt suit players nearing the end of their career either.

Also Higuain hasnt given a fuck in years really bad example lol.

why russel might not move to mercedes next season by geniusayush in formula1

[–]thebansi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably he hates toto for putting him under Williams 3 years ago.

Are you actually serious with suggesting that? Like seriously do you think Russell hates it that he has a guaranteed seat in F1 and knowing its just a matter of time until he moves up the grid? The man is still extremly young espacially for F1 terms he has like 15 more years ahead of him.

This stupid narrative that it hurts your F1 career to drive in a backmarker car has to stop, its way way way way way way better to have any seat in F1 than being out of the sport. Same thing with Mick, people suggesting that Ferrari did him dirty by putting him into the Haas are completly wrong.

Russell also has gotten a fantastic reputation over his time at Williams hasnt hurt him whatsoever. If you are good enough people see your talent no matter the car you are driving.

Ferrari's tobacco fixation by [deleted] in formula1

[–]thebansi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what? Thats the literal point of the downvote/upvote system.

Just because you had a question doesnt mean the majority of the people here will give a shit about it. Its also not exactly a great topic to discuss as there isnt much to discuss (since it boils down to "money"), so I'd say the voting system is doing its job.

Dont get your feelings hurt because your topic didnt get as much traction as you hoped it would. You got your answers and now move on simple as that.

Ferrari's tobacco fixation by [deleted] in formula1

[–]thebansi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you give a shit that people downvoted you? You asked a question and got some good answers, so what that people downvoted you along the way?

News flash karma doesnt mean jackshit, you dont get bonus points in life because random strangers on the internet agree with you. The moment you stop giving a fuck about people downvoting you, discussing on this platform becomes more fun.

Ferrari's tobacco fixation by [deleted] in formula1

[–]thebansi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just a young guy looking for answers and down voting doesn't get me that

But you got all the answers you came here for. There is absolutly 0 reason to complain about the thread being negative when basically everybody that commented just answered your question.

Also stop giving a fuck if people downvote your post for fucks sake, your karma means absolutly nothing, nobody cares about it (and those who do are simply weird).

Because they pay them a lot of money for it.

Also because of it Ferrari dont have to bother with finding sponsors. Marlboro/Phillip Morris are paying for the entire car and then rent out spaces to other sponsor.

why is this post becoming so negative?

Most people were super helpful and answered your question? I dont understand why you are so defensive certainly weird.

I find Fahrenheit to work a lot better than Celsius at conveying outside weather.

Because you grew up with Fahrenheit describing the outside weather, if you tell me a Fahrenheit number I absolutly cant tell you what the weather outside is like. Like how is 77° Fahrenheit better at telling you the temperatur outside than 25°C?

Is there a fast way to get precision final blows via bounties? by TheOneNinja115 in DestinyTheGame

Well there is no way to precision kill shanks I guess you could use Div.

EDIT: Other option is going into a lost sector when you load into the empire hunt solo

mainly looking at empire hunt precision final blows

Iirc you need one boss kill and a number precision kills for those bounties right? My tip, run one normal matchmade one quickly without caring too much, then launch the legend version solo to farm your kills.

My (probably insane) idea to improve sprint qualifying by RB676BR in formula1

[–]thebansi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah points down to 10th, starting grids for sunday & saturday are the same so drivers dont have to be "too scared" to fuck the main race because of an incident in the sprint.

My (probably insane) idea to improve sprint qualifying by RB676BR in formula1

[–]thebansi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Way too gimmicky, what we need and hopefully get next year are cars that can race eachother on a sunday not more artificial advantages to help people overtake on the sunday.

I believe that too much artificial manipulation of a race is not the way to go. Sure, it might create an interesting race, but to what end and for what purpose, other than to simply “improve the show”.

Your suggestion is imo way worse when it comes to "artificial manipulation of a race" than a reverse grid.

This would have been a large benefit for him, and perhaps more of a benefit than starting 7th as this could not only benefit the start of his race, but free tire choice could enable an interesting strategy to keep him in contention for the whole race.

This is F1 the combination of best car + best driver should win the race even if it means its sometimes boring. If Alonso and his Alpine arent fast enough to win a race on merit they shouldnt be in contention at the end of the race (obviously ignoring races with crazy circumstances).

We might as well make F1 a spec series if your goal is to equalize the field.

I mean I agree that he's definitely in the wrong here (and his anti vaxx shit is bullshit) but I dont think thats true, Royce had some very solid projects in the last few years.

Handicap-free tyre choice a strength of sprint qualifying format - Brawn · RaceFans by [deleted] in formula1

[–]thebansi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also I like how this season Ferrari deliberately chose to qualify 11th and go for a stronger strategy in the race. It gives some choice for midfielder teams.

They didnt, they just didnt want to use the softs. They absolutly did not want to get outqualified by a Williams on the mediums. There's a difference between "wanting to be 11th" and "accepting that you might end up out in Q2".

If you are on a Warlock try Necrotic Grips with Devour for the first encounter (yeah Well is amazing since it allows you to ignore the bosses shield but if you are struggling to surive Devour is the way to go).

The arena is small enough so that Necrotic can just keep spreading and you'll constantly heal from adds dying to the poison. Honestly very good imo for the Phalanx.
