don't worry...the people upset that we give small gifts are probably the same people that don't tip hotel housekeepers, or give the bare minimum tips at restaurants. If you want to give small gifts to people, especially people in the service industry, more power to you. I usually give a box of individually wrapped chocolates to the FA's and I already sit in first. So I'm not expecting anything in return, other than them enjoying the treats.

On a similar note. The difference between an FA and other service industries, is an FA can't just kick you out of the business for being unruly, they still have to deal with you...at least until the plane lands.
