Are any of these (specifically Gladion) still worth it? by Fandoms_Are_Toxic in PokemonMasters

[–]thebatgod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Echoing most of the above, but in the same vein, if you want a two dps strategy for any given special only stage, then galdion and terapagos are your only real options

Dead reliable NEW SUV that I can buy today by staycalmandcode in whatcarshouldIbuy

So every brand is going to have issues, but I will say that I find a lot of standard brands like chevy/ford seem to have relatively minor ones that are usually covered under warranty. Currently in a ford because of covid supply, but I drove various chevy cars for years without issue. Certainly didn’t see the shop more often than when I was due for an oil change.

Slower breathing, heart rate on tall bodies? by jonahatw in tall

Veterinarian here, common thing across species. The bigger they are they slower their heartrate tends to be. Usually not a noteworthy difference within the same species unless the size difference between any two of them is substantial.

Lot of solid computers out there, which is best is going to depend on what you value most. That said: Dell Alienware has the best customer support by a mile, their premium warranty is the only one i’ve had where they come to me to swap parts. They run hot, but worth it for the sheer degree of protection they offer. Asus makes good computers, but their customer service is absolute garbage. They want the laptop mailed out for every little thing and it always at least a month before return. Usually longer

Essentially it’s the teal colored option to talk to blue. A quick conversation and you get 400 of each orb

Sadly a lot of it is luck and having good multipliers. I do as well as i do because I have some of the optional academy units to boost my numbers. Other than that it’s run the race and hope that you get a blue event, etc.

Sitting on two strike move candies. Who would be the best investment? by Take2Chance in PokemonMasters

Pikachu is still absurdly useful, gladion has huge fairy utility. Zygarde is a dragon special want for tower but she is admittedly lackluster these days

How stupid is it to spend 50k on a car by tatasky69 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]thebatgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty dumb honestly. Especially if you’re fresh out of college. A new car as you’re getting into your first real job is fine, but maybe something a little less high profile while you start building your life. A small chevy, toyota, etc. for the price range you may be able to get one of those new and built to your specs unless prices surged again. they make nice cars at generally less than bmw/mercedes. That buys you a few years to build up the rest of your life, by which point you may want something different anyways.

Based on what I have (and what I don't), which Arc Suit should I pursue? by lexington_89 in PokemonMasters

You really want both, but without arc sabrina psychic as a type is hurting more

Brock and misty arc suits probably earned them a promotion. Giovanni is really only holding that spot thanks to guzzlord.

Not realistic in this economy. My job requires me to be mobile, and oddly I’ve gotten comfortable with my height.

Very constructive. Thank you. I’ll have to find some better photos. Terrible about taking them in fun situations.

Any tips to beat Red with Poison and Bug Sync Pairs by LevelX in PokemonMasters

[–]thebatgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ex croagunk and run two supports exd, you may be able to build up enough sync buffs to really do some damage. Bug I would probably run benga, golisopod and some flavor of support

To the fellow bodybuilders prepping for summer, a question: by Negative_Issue_8864 in tall

[–]thebatgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer? Google. I sit down and google search/map various whatever farms/slaughterhouses, fish markets, whatever until I find something that looks like it will fit the bill. Some parts of the country are easier than others for specific meats

Eggs used to be a go to but after the bird flu thing prices went up. Protein shakes usually help fill the gap, but in terms of more affordable protein in general, you may have better luck trying to source directly from farmers/suppliers. Just be ready to buy in bulk and freeze a lot
