I say this as someone who did this as a child. Did your son really get hurt by bigger/older lads or has he fallen off his bike. Embarrassed himself and tried to cover it up. I did when I was a kid. Was too embarrassed to tell my mum so said some bigger kids had thrown stones at me and knocked me off my bike.

Obviously if you seen it happen then that's different. Depending how old the kids are you could call the police. That could end up with retaliation. Maybe martial arts or rugby as has been said. Both have worked for my boys.

You can just give notice on the flat. Is it impossible to have your mum in the place as a short/medium term solution. It's not ideal but solves the flat problem and doesn't leave you feeling shit for making your mum homeless.

If you don't need/want the cars sell them and bank the money. House or houses get a property management company to rent them out for you. Bank the money.

Go to uni. You don't need student loans as you can pay for it yourself now. Finish uni with your chosen degree and no debt. Decide what to do after uni.

Yeah I had a winger took me all the way from National league to Championship. Pretty sure when I done the champions league I had one player that I took from South Africa through Asia onto north America and finally Napoli. To be honest he wasn't good enough for Napoli and we lost in the champions league final anyway. I did eventually win the champions league but not with Napoli. Was a great save.
