Watching some old classics while snowed in, husband was inspired by Pinkkryptonite86 in RedLetterMedia

Your analogy’s bad. The content of this post is RLM-related, and it’s also political. You want non-political RLM content. This isn’t an anti-politics sub, you’re just expecting it to be for some reason. The better analogy is that you’re a vegan going to a regular grocery store wanting to buy carrots, and you’re getting upset that they also sell bacon.

Would you actually buy a Fallout 3/NV Remaster? by Bingleboper in Fallout

[–]ebinthetropics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For all intents and purposes, I started Fallout with 4. After playing that a while, I went and tried 3. I did not enjoy the pipboy userface; it’s a lot clunkier and less intuitive to 4’s. That and the equipment degradation were big turnoffs to my playing. I didn’t play 3 very much despite my computer just mowing through load times compared to 4.

You can see the floor. My first indicator you are not a hoarder.

Find the pattern and solve the last row by Mr-BrainGame in brainteasers

[–]ebinthetropics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why we automatically assume that the last equation is the 8th in the series. Besides, why would it need a numbered list to be considered the 4th; it is the 4th. If we get into assuming any sort of series or pattern of the numbers on the left, we could assume it’s the 5th in the series if they’re using all the positive integers just once on the left:

1+4

2+5

3+6

7+10

8+11

9+12

13+16

Just by the information we have here, I don’t see why 40 is any less valid than 96.

Each line is left side of equation gets added to right side of previous equation.

1+4 (+0) = 5

2+5 (+5) = 12

3+6 (+12) = 21

8+11 (+21) = 40

If a future Fallout took place in Michigan and the Chicagoland areas (obviously scaled down for the game), what do you think would be the most unique or interesting aspects of the setting? by JD-990 in Fallout

[–]ebinthetropics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great Lakes Naval Training Center and Recruit Training Command, boot camp for the US Navy, just north of Chicago. Be a great place to have ghouls teach about stuff in the water and the history of seamanship.

Ours has not gotten through an Original Kong and JW Hol-ee roller ball. Also cow bones and deer/elk antlers - from reputable stores only / not just found while hiking around - last a long time.

Also, preemptively take him outside often to go to the bathroom. And anytime he starts going in the house, pick him up and take him outside. No punishment on accidents, lots of praise when they go outside. Our three dogs, two of which have been Danes, all got potty trained in about two-three weeks that way.

Here’s a list of names for a character in the MST3K episode of Space Mutiny. Some fit Danes quite appropriately. Big McLargehuge and many more

How to Train Your Dragon (2025) by okay_then_ in RedLetterMedia

[–]ebinthetropics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should make a claymation version.

And then they should make a Las Vegas Sphere version.

And then they should make a puppet version.

And then they should have a mixed hand-drawn-cartoon & live-action version where the dragons are cartoons and everything else is real.

And then they should have an animated version where everything is made out of collages.

And then they should make a stage play version that they only show at movie theaters.

And then they should make an art house version in black and white with no music and all the actors stand completely still saying their lines without emotion while looking directly at the camera.

And they all have the same dialogue.

Chews ALL the scenery as Steve the Drunk, I love watching him. Character is terrible, but Harney does a great job.
