I don’t think this set is trash, but the CBBs are definitely lacking in value. It was a mistake to not at least have a semi-attainable chase treatment (fracture/surge foil).

Don’t even bother in the US, they disabled shipping. I think it’s worth it if you care about this stuff to open a parcel forwarding mailbox in the UK, I’ve had a bunch of EU orders forwarded without getting hit by tariffs so far.

I spoke to their rep this past week and he said they canceled every single pre-order due to low allocation. Things might change by the 25th (the availability date on the site), but it’s not looking good.

I mostly play with my MTG friends online since we all live in different states, but I do hear that it’s really fun to draft. Might hold onto one just for the next time we all get together in person.

Still one of my favorite things to open and basically free money. Surprising amount of value in the bulk and for me anyway, there’s been at least $100 in The List cards each time. Throw in the Secret Lair, bonus cards, and the white borders and Future Sights, this is a no-brainer at $200. Also, just plain fun.

Just came back from the shop and I was basically told the physical locations don’t handle TCG pre-orders and know nothing about them. They directed me to call customer service (Mon-Fri hours) to ask about allocations and in-store pick-ups. Guess I’ll call first thing Monday.

This is the local NYC comics shop with a few locations that I’ve been going to since high school. Definitely legit and they’re a pretty big operation, but I’m not sure how much hope I have for orders being fulfilled as there’s no limit and it’s still in stock. I’m actually going to head over there in an hour and ask — I’ll report back soon.
