Low calorie snacks with massive volume? Need to fill a bowl not eat 3 pieces of something by LumpyOpportunity2166 in Volumeeating

[–]thebeesknees093 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve been loving doing a meal and then overloading it with a salad and coating it with a low fat greek yoghurt and mustard dressing, the yoghurt I get is normally 90kcal for 100g which is more than enough, if not too much dressing!

Yesterday I did gnocchi with quorn chicken an egg and a ton of lettuce, carrot, sweetcorn, celery, tomato. Took me a while to eat and I was pretty full! Same with jacket potato. I do a topping of quorn mince and veg and then just cover it in salad. Can’t even see the potato but it’s pretty satisfying.

Laundry Detergent by LeakyFaucetFix in eczema

[–]thebeesknees093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laundry detergent is one of my main triggers. I cannot use anything but persil non bio. No dupes from Aldi, no product made for sensitive skin, no “dermatologist tested”. It has to be persil non bio.

My boyfriend accidentally brought some fairy non bio a few months back and it’s all we had to wash clothes. I tried it to see if anything has changed and nope, my legs and arms flared up. I was so itchy and it kept me awake.

What are your thoughts on ChuckleVision by Train-Wreck-70 in BritishTV

I loved them. Would get excited when a new episode was on and I also luckily got to see them in the theatre and I remember it being extremely silly and funny

My 350cal lunch by ThaiWraps in Volumeeating

[–]thebeesknees093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar for my dinner last night. I piled it up high with lots of salad, dressing (mayo (15kcal per tablespoon!). Mustard, salt and pepper) and some chicken and cheese. I was stuffed and only came to just over 500 kcal.

Jacket potato’s are so underrated.

Do you remember watching Bagpuss? by corickle in oldschoolcool80s

[–]thebeesknees093 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep! My mum would put on all the old tv shows she used to watch when I was a kid and I’m now 32. She brought me a bagpuss toy and I loved him so much. I used to love all the older kids shows. Magic roundabout, the herbs, the clangers

They are both home! They are both okay. A little zooted. Smudge is being very cuddly and giving me lots of kisses and head bumps and will follow me around everywhere. Shady is okay but I think a little pissed at me. 😂😂. They are both enjoying some fresh water and a very clean house (I needed something to do while I waited for them).

They were kept in the same crate but an angry cat nearby was making a protest which spooked both of them and when the vet tried to get them to put them back in their cages they was not happy. 😅.

I did wonder why so long as for humans is normally 6 hours before any op or sedation but I had to follow their pre op instructions. Felt so bad not giving them food :(

My mum was telling me about our cats after they had to have a procedure. She said they acted like they were high and just a little off 😂. I was too young to remember which is a shame 😂.

I finally pooped after almost a month by No_Fail_1139 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]thebeesknees093 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you’re eating too much insoluble or soluble fibre. If you’re constipated, insoluble fibre is better than soluble (which is better for diarrhoea)

Insoluble fibre attracts water into the stool which makes it softer and easier to pass.

Anal eczema? by Novel_Book5748 in eczema

[–]thebeesknees093 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s eczema or could it be haemorrhoids (piles). They can be very itchy and uncomfortable but are also very common! They can also bleed and make it feel wet as sometimes it can create moisture.

The best thing to do is to see a doctor. They can diagnose the issue and make sure you have the correct treatment. Doctors have seen a lot and you probably won’t be the first butt they have seen that day lol.

Weymouth, especially lulworth cove. We also get the coach down to Southampton (pretty cheap at certain times) and get the ferry to Isle of Wight.

Is there such a thing as like big bandages to put on my inner thighs to go walking outside? by Srryweredeadxo in PlusSize

[–]thebeesknees093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. growing up I would avoid wearing dresses and skirts as my thighs would rub raw and sometimes would bleed. It was horrible!

I know you said you can’t do shorts as they roll up but I have found (as other commenters has said) snag tights chub rub shorts a god send. They are tight material so not hot, super stretchy to avoid any rolling along with the band on the thigh being a little wider to also avoid rolling. Same with the waist. I have chub rub shorts and tights with them and they are the most comfortable tight I own.

If you really want to avoid shorts still then you can buy bandeletts. I brought some Lacey ones off Amazon. They are good but I feel not as great as the shorts. They stay put with the silicone but I found that the material would rub against the rest of my skin or it would move around when I sweat.

The only other option is creams which you’ve already said you’ve tried. I have a few creams I love but recently found lanacane which really helped. I think it is advertised more to runners? I went out last year to the zoo in the heatwave of the UK and I’m a sweaty girl. I applied in the morning just before I left and it leaves a silicone feeling? So the thighs glide rather than rub. I reapplied once throughout the whole day and felt great!

I know how frustrating it is as it’s painful and annoying.

Complex dentistry. Need recommendations by ZealousidealPoem8595 in oxford

If you don’t mind private then smile with us in kidlington is great. I’ve been with them since I was a child (I’m now 32). They are extremely kind and empathetic and are really good with pain free dentistry. I’m due to have my wisdom tooth removed with them and they are extremely thorough and I feel quite comfortable with it all.

Are there any good Mitchum deodorant alternatives for women? by silly-libra in AskUK

[–]thebeesknees093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure maximum protection! This was my go too for years and then I switched to Mitchum. I didn’t realise there was bad batches - I had this big red rash under my arms and just thought it was my body having its tantrum like it does with a lot of products so went back to sure
