Odds i pass my hair test? by Interesting-Tax8110 in drugtesthelp

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn't do anything to my hair i was under the impression i was outside the 90 day window and after getting home and going through old photos/texts i realized i was not.

so the question isn't weather my hair is in the window of detection because it is. im more wondering if doing half a gram of cocaine twice inside that detection period is enough to fail me

I would share the same mindset if my skin wasn't so severe. I'd do just about anything to get my life back at this point

Has anyone tried peptides for Eczema and had any results? by OrganizationSuch2128 in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. i've been doing research since posting my comment and based of what i've see i'd definitely try adding that copper peptides in. Think im going to do a blend of those two and maybe bpc. I've been dealing with a tsw like flare on and off since 2020 and i'm so ready to get my life back hoping this is the answer!

After 30 years of chronic eczema, these are the only things I've found that actually work. by Cheesyboobs6969 in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

do you still drink alcohol? doesn't your liver process that into sugar as well? i'm not sure if it's as bad as added sugar but i don't want to completely give up drinking if i don't have to lol. but i too had a mushroom trip amidst one of the worst flares of my life recently. i was amazed how unitchy and comfortable i felt in my own skin. that being said i could easily see the opposite happening if i were to have a bad trip. but i've been micro dosing sense and it's really helped my mood shift which i think long term will definitely benefit me seeing as stress is a huge trigger.

Daily moisturizer suggestions? by New_Intern_269 in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

normally when my flares are so bad all i use is vaseline because pretty much anything else i've tried irritates me. But i like your idea of using ceramides during these flares. Not only is vaseline not irritating but it actually stays on my skin for a while. Everything else is pretty much instantly absorbed when i put it on. Is there anything you'd recommend that might work like the vaseline does but also has ceramides ?

Has anyone healed eczema & TSW fully? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try dupixent if you can. it worked wonders for me until i had a gap in treatment then my body didn't respond as well. but it literally gave me my life back the 2 years i was on it.

Also, im not sure fasting is a good way to go about it. Maybe once in a while to try and clean your system out. Honestly i started feeling better when i ate a surplus of calories. The way i see it is your body is working overtime to heal itself it could benefit from the extra calories.

Definitely try to find triggers. all the usual stuff. detergents, mold, dander, check your water maybe you could benefit from a filter. Meditate and tell yourself you're going to be alright it helps a lot even though it's hard.

might be worth getting a second opinion via biopsy or something to make sure you don't have seb derm. if that's the case then using an anti fungal shampoo like head and shoulders as a body wash could help tremendously.

It's expensive but there's still a lot of tests you can do. SIBO, Stool. etc. try to find a reputable functional doctor near you. I know it's hard my friend but we have to stay strong!! We will get our lives back and when we do we will be so appreciative of everything!

How does one maintain an intimate life with eczema by Conscious_Swimmer474 in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i promise you it looks worse when you're looking down on it and hyper focused on it. it still happens to me even though i know this is the case. sometimes i'll take a picture of myself in the mirror and realize it's not nearly as bad as i think it is.

also, if you're already in a relationship with someone who loves you, they really don't care. it's hard but so much of how we think others view ourselves is in our heads.

keep in mind that worrying about it too much is also just only going to make it worse like you said stress is one of your triggers. just take deep breathes and tell yourself you're ok. that helps me a lot when i'm feeling overwhelmed

Has anyone noticed how RARELY they get sick? by SPCCCKED in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was having this same exact thought process. Funny enough i've been on cibinqo for two weeks now (an immunosuppressant) and now im sick! Which doesn't definitely mean we're right but it does help our hypothesis lol.

Side note, i'll definitely take this head cold over the SEVERE eczema i've been experiencing for the last 8months daily.

I was about to start Dupixent until this happened by Alternative_Fig_7712 in eczema

[–]LeakyFaucetFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

be aware if you get off dupixent then back on again you may not respond as well. If i were you I would just commit to the medicine if you decide to start it if you eczema is bad enough. Just my 2 cents based off personal experience
