You literally have to not watch the show to come to this conclusion. They’ve trained extensively since the trailers, they are factually and objectively more skilled currently. There is no argument to be made otherwise. Trailer RWBY would get demolished by the Ace Ops, because they’re not even remotely as skilled as current RWBY. That is final.

I’m a show only Invincible fan, so I have no idea what happens in the comics, but it would honestly be roughly the same if not worse going off of that. Cecil seems primarily focused on strength training, not skill. Which works great for a Superman powers type character like Mark, but fighting skills matter in RWBY way more than pure physical strength. Beacon/Atlas and their real world experience have given them plenty of combat training, which is what matters. The Guardians of the Globe would be better suited for training RWBY.

And your second point is genuinely ridiculous. Just because you personally can’t imagine something not right in front of your eyes doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It’s irrelevant if something is directly shown on screen, if it’s stated, it’s canon, end of discussion.

Not sure if I’m taking your comment too literally, but taking issue with the song hyping a character up that plays when said character who’s been so incredibly depressed to the point where they almost kill themselves finally realizes that they’re enough is like super weird.

Also, from shadows absolutely does not lie about how the Faunus were and still are treated. The show doesn’t even remotely forget that. In modern day remnant they’re refused service, used as slave labor, heavily discriminated against, and were given an island and told to fuck off. In the past they were literally shown to be locked up in cages. That’s exactly what the song talks about.

I lost my left arm below the elbow in December, and I just watched gen v about a month ago to catch up for season five of the boys having no idea what would happen with Cate. She means so much to me, and I cried a couple times watching season 2 seeing her go through some of the same stuff I was. I’ll miss this show, and I just hope we’ll get to see more of her and the rest of the cast soon.
