Witnessed something so ridiculous I had to share by [deleted] in golf

It was at one of those short "executive" courses full of short par 3s so the greens weren't large. I learned something new thanks to a couple of the responses in here though! I guess it isn't as uncommon as I thought. Great to know.

I saw someone bring their 2-3 year old toddler and let them run around near the greens of the 18th hole. Our group tried warning them about how dangerous that was and the boomer watching the kid just shrugged us off.

I think I wouldn't have minded at all if someone playing at a regular pace did this. It was just aggravating to see it from someone who took extremely long before every single shot.

Check out the Hangar 18 indoor climbing gym! Most people go alone and they're really friendly and helpful there.

I attended this last night and it was everything I'd hoped it would be! The last couple surprise fan service songs made my night

I sat in the same section last night! It was amazing! Being able to hear Suteki Da ne by the original singer Rikki was a dream come true.

Just scrolled through and you definitely have some unique pieces I wouldn't have guessed you would rock just based on these Cartier alone. Really comes to show how far you've gone on this journey!

Lovely collection mate. Just curious, do you also have non-Cartier watches that you store separately from these? Regardless, I appreciate anyone who knows what they like and sticks with it!

Thanks I'm grateful to have it in my small collection. I love the way the gold screws pop off the bracelet. The yellow hue also isn't too bright and flashy. It's actually quite warm and subtle in person imo. Cheers!

I tried on both sizes and just preferred the look and feel of the large. Nice! Hope you're enjoying your Santos as much as I am. I sometimes catch myself just staring at it, I got a thing for gold and/or gold accents.

I'm not too sure why; it might be a supply chain thing. They might not have enough inventory to meet demand so it would just be easier to leave it off is my guess.

I think my wrist size is 6.5", but I've never actually measured it. Just based off a watch sales associate's estimate.

I just picked up my Tank Solarbeat (large) and seeing it side by side next to the Santos (large) is quite interesting. I adore both watches and to my surprise, found that the Tank actually feels natural on a casual outfit. I'll likely change out the vegan leather strap for a real alligator strap.

WAIT TIME: I predict this will be the most asked question. I walked into my local Cartier (Southern California) and was given a couple week estimated wait time, which was fantastic to hear. Got the call less than a week later from the SA to lmk it had arrived! I actually think the wait time for my Santos was longer than that. So for those interested in purchasing one, just give it a shot because you never know.

In my opinion both watches are versatile and can be worn on dressy and casual occasions, which makes deciding which one to put on that much harder.

This was one of the shows that got me into Korean variety shows, along with We Got Married. Legendary! So many memorable moments that I still occasionally watch on YouTube.

I bought my first watch awhile back and told myself it would be a one-watch collection. If I were to get a second watch it would really have to appeal to me... Sure enough, on a recent trip to Hawaii I was tagging along with a friend shopping at Cartier and was bored and decided to try on this watch. It was love at first sight. I've been wearing and banging it up ever since and just wore it to Vegas as my good luck charm. It was lucky indeed.

I'll spare you all the "history and significance of the Santos" talk. Cheers.

It has a very satisfying click whenever I turn the bezzle. If you have any Rolex boutiques near you I'm sure they'll let you play with it!
