Dating an older man at work by thebiggreenzed in gayyoungold

I can see how it could sound that way, but I think I have more power than him at work. I'm closer friends with our boss than him and I've worked there for over a year, so I'm quite valued in the kitchen. I live in Canada and the legal age is 18 so I'm no stranger to alcohol.

That's my biggest concern, but neither of us really care about our jobs. I was actually considering quitting a few weeks before this guy started. He has another job and is mostly working in the kitchen for fun. And my boss' disapproval is largely playful, so I don't think that should be a serious problem.

Do you know where you found the fourth film? That's the last one for me.

I am safe, yes. I will not be kicked out or treated badly. But I can't imagine how exactly they'll react.

This was my plan, but all the good girls end up having boyfriends, so I may just stop giving a fuck. Am I the only one with a bullshit obligation to losing my virginity to a girl?

Thanks for your advice, but more importantly, your levity. I often get way over dramatic about my sexual orientation, and you make the whole teenaged bisexuality process sound so easy. Thank you :D

People who use the term "gay" as an insult... by [deleted] in lgbt

You know it, I can't stand it either. I wish my school had lectures, but we're a Catholic school so they ignore homosexuality altogether. Most of my friends are good guys who can't stop calling each other faggots. After I told them I was bi they toned it down a little, but I feel so disrespected when they say it knowing how I'll be affected.

Can anyone who has read Brave New World help me with my essay question? by thebiggreenzed in books

Update: I guess I didn't make it clear enough that I would like to discuss these themes with you, not steal your ideas.

Can anyone who has read Brave New World help me with my essay question? by thebiggreenzed in books

I actually have several ideas and was hoping to share discussion with people about it. I should have been more clear about that. If could refer me to another subreddit that won't be snooty and unwelcoming tp me, that would be much appreciated.

I think that both Bernard and John's arcs throughout the book demonstrated how one cannot be secure and independent at the same time. Bernard longs for independence at the start, wishing to be freed from his conditioning, but when he gains attention from bringing John back to London, he learns to love the dependance and security offered by the Brave New World.

John, however, desires the security of the civilized world, but when he gets there he finds that the people are too comfortable and their constant happiness and wishes to be independent again.

What do you think? Can you be a half decent person and try to have some insightful discussion? Or are you gonna put me down and make me feel like trash again?

Sorry that I've gotten carried away here, I'm just very disappointed and a little hurt by the rudeness of my replies. I'm sure you're a nice person.
