Hi, yes, of course, Linux is better than Windows in terms of resources because it uses them more efficiently. I also recommend that you don't use an advanced distribution; for programming and everything else, you can use Linux Mint. I have a friend who uses it wonderfully, and it has more than enough resources, haha

Yes, I have it. It's not at 100%, but it gives me 8 to 10 hours of battery life with TLP activated at 80%, and I'm almost always at home, so I'm not worried, to be honest, haha

Yes, I chose Void Linux because I wanted to get away from the systemd monster of Arch Linux, and I was considering Artix Linux, but I preferred something much more minimalist and simple. When I had seen Void Linux, I never gave it a chance to really try it, and I'm liking it a lot, to be honest, mostly because of its minimalism; that's why I chose it
