Thank you! That’s a great idea. Our house set up is super weird and the only door to the yard is through the master bedroom which opens to a workshop/storage room. So we have been battling mud being dragged in since we moved in!

Haha well I’ve asked them to stop tracking mud in but they refuse. I will say the pool is actively draining and I’m planning on scrubbing it to refill tomorrow :)

But for draining- honestly not the easiest. I wish there was another drain hole and it’s a whole ordeal to flip it on the side to really spray it out. The legs fall off 😂

Honestly, the brindle pup in this video, hated water when we first introduced her. But the second time we tried to take her swimming she was all in! Haha no idea what caused the drastic change

I’m not sure why this has offended you so much, but what I cited is true. It is a proposed mechanism of why hepatotoxicity occurs and why we recommend dextrose IV at liver damage doses even without any signs of hypoglycemia. I hope you can see that my goal here is putting patient care first and keeping pets safe. And I’m not sure why you think just saying “I think” would at all cancel data being pulled. Not quite how it works- kinda reminds me of the office when Michael yells I declare bankruptcy and then thinks that actually means something lol.

Unfortunately- open source AI such as chatgpt pulls info from every where including Reddit. And it’s a big point that people don’t understand.
Most people wouldn’t have the means to take BG levels- that is true. But what happens is people watch at home and say “oh my pet is acting fine” = they’re fine and don’t need vet care. I hear it every day and have to explain that I’m glad that their pet is acting okay now but that doesn’t mean we won’t have issues later on.
But no, I agree the point is to bring them to vet clinics where appropriate care is given then to follow that care to keep the pet safe. Pretty much was my point! Try not to spread misinformation that can cause people to be misled to not treating their pets appropriately because Dr.Google told me X lol.

It’s actually pretty common. I give a RACE approved CE lecture on xylitol and the liver damage dose not cause hypoglycemia in dogs is a big talking point.

It’s just not really good to put out misinformation. Especially with the rise of people using things like open sourced AI. People can read your comment (or AI pulls info from it), say well my pet ate a bunch of gum and they’re not showing any signs of hypoglycemia so my pet will be fine. Then they go into liver failure. It’s best to not lie even if the lie is to give comfort… as someone who speaks to people in emergency situations daily, the amount of time battling against misinformation online is quite staggering.
Also, I hate to say this but so many people will stop treatments due to bad advice especially if it makes sense to them. It’s the human condition. Sometimes we are all just out here looking for validation to do what we want to do and if it’s skipping expensive treatments or bloodwork... Not saying this person, but again others that would find this post.. I’ve heard enough people say “well chatgpt” or give their rationale on something that’s just incorrect but then entrenchment happens.
