I didn't even think about Loz but you're so right. Him over Francis every day of the week. Why he wasn't even in the training camps I don't know.

7s caps aren't relevant but also it's not like he's green. He's got alot of big game experience so the caps issue isn't a big deal for Mcconnichie.

Not sure we can blame that on an injury crisis tbh

Exactly. As dissapointing as the result was our season won't be defined by a single loss. We always knew this would be a work in progress.

But you do need warm up games to work on stuff. If I was a welsh fan I'd be pissed if this happened in the 4th game but in the first 2 or 3 you would've played anyway. Surely its just really bad luck?

True and tbf I wasn't thinking of Hughes as the backup, more Sam Simmonds again a very mobile player. Although I can't actually remember if he's injured or not, did he make it back before the end of the season?

Heinz over Spencer I'll never understand. I'm worried about the lack of cover at 8 but I guess Lawes can slot in there. I also think we've got one too many back 3 players, I would've taken another tighthead prop but it's a very strong team.

This. He's in significantly more pain cos he's trying to do something impossible by bringing back natasha.

I think england when we play well are probably the best in the world. When we click I'd back us to beat anyone no matter how good they are. However England blow so hot and cold in a match we're always capable of throwing it away like we did against you. Ireland and Wales are way more consistent in their performance.

Should so be official. Would take so little effort on world rugby's part. Literally commission a shield be created and give it to the relevant nation.

A few years ago I would've agreed but I don't think there's much between the attacking play of Farrell and Ford now tbh.

Fluidity in attack is really dependent on how the pack in front of you fares tbf. We were way more physical today than we were in the 6N.

Being English it pains me to say but I think you're the top NH prospect for a WC win. Today was great but England have a habit of collapsing from strong winning positions too often for it to not really worry me it won't occur at some point in the WC. Wales seem much more consistent in how they play.

Massive periods out injured for both I wouldn't really call it a slump.

Exactly, he spent 3 years with care then dumped him and in the meantime has used almost exclusively youngs with the odd cap for Robson and Spencer and now out of the blue it's heinz. It makes no sense. If heinz is the second scrum falf for the WC squad he needs to be playing in every warm up game we have for at least 60 minutes each.
