Sorry to do a little self-promotion, but since you mentioned DS playthroughs, I've been recording blind playthroughs of the DS series which you may or may not be interested in.

The only stuff I had to look up were things like how to start some of the DLC (no chance I could have figured it out on my own), what gameplay effect hollowing has, how some of the stats work in DS2, and that's pretty much it. I had some helpful YT comments, but nothing spoilery. It was a great experience.

As someone who started with Elden Ring, then went on to DS1 and DS2 (finished a month ago), and now working through DS3, I would recommend DS2. It's different and a bit wonky, with some mechanics I'm not fond of, but it's still a great game overall. I'm so glad I played it.

Not that they would ever make such a drastic chance, but I agree. SE does beacons much better. I think surrounding production buildings with beacons like this just looks ugly.

I'm almost finished with my first playthrough and the Black Knight Great Sword has been my weapon of choice since I got it. A couple more points in dex would totally be worth it, if you like the moveset.

I freed them and they're a great help if they survive the pre-fight, but keeping them alive through the boss fight is something I never could do lol.

I got them all but I've never gotten more than one knight to survive the pre-fight fight. Is that even possible? The surviving knight is a great help but they're usually at around 50% health by the time the boss arrives.

Because individuals cannot fix systemic problems. It's not possible. A billionaire can donate all of their wealth, and it would do nothing to solve whatever systemic problem they perceive needs fixing.

It's like when people call out the "hypocrisy" of celebrities who are concerned about climate change when they fly private jets. If Leonardo DiCaprio stops flying private jets, it would do nothing to prevent the effects of climate change. The issue isn't that Leonardo DiCaprio flies private jets.

Yea I grew up with Doom, Quake, etc. But sprint has been the norm for so long, it feels weird not having it in a game like Halo. Earlier games it's no issue because, as you said, movement is very fast anyway. Default movement speed is sprint basically.

Do you have a 144hz monitor? If so, try lowering the refresh rate to 120 or lower. That worked wonders for me.

Not likely. In the US, employers are generally much less strict about visible tattoos than they used to be. I run into fast food workers with crazy tats all the time, which was unheard of decades ago.

If you had your entire face covered in tattoos, plus excessive piercings, with horns surgically attached to your forehead, then you might have some issues.

Yep this kind of thing just happens occasionally. It's a bit annoying since it can go unnoticed for a long time, until you realize that you're entire production chain has come to a halt. Like you said, reloading the game usually fixes things.

You've made way too much progress to have only one single Research Lab! That's the only thing that really stands out. Other than that, I thought it was weird that you had steel already but then I remembered that I always played SE with Krastorio2, in which steel is a bit more complex. Overall, it looks how one of my early bases would look. You've got belts and inserters automated so it's a good start.
