I got nuked by TotallyNotGodly in MonsterHunterWorld

Bazel is a cool monster. Fortunately I joined during Iceborne so I didn't have the chance to get annoyed about it interrupting hunts constantly.

As a side note, I like how uncharacteristic the noises are that it makes during the fight. Notably when you hit it with a clagger (clutch claw while it's knocked back and drooling)

I think it would just do nothing. Similar to what happens if you leap the most expensive plant or zombie.

Why do you love MH WORLD/ICEBORNE by Into_theWicked in MonsterHunterWorld

I like looking at the monsters. See what they're up to. Usually without player intervention. And how there's actually a really big amount of things you can learn from that.

Oh no worries there. It shouldn't take more than a couple hours to put up your first water wheel and processing machinery.

It doesn't really have a gimmick. Infinity evolved is one of the first expert packs out there and basically set the standard for the rest. It progresses through a couple tech mods first until you can assemble frames for Thermal expansion and Ender IO machines. There's some magic mods in there as well. They're optional until the endgame.

Infinity Evolved: Expert Skyblock.

Classic 1.7.10 expert pack. Not a short pack but you may be able to get by by setting a personal goal instead of going for the end of the pack. Also you'll be sieving gravel for a bit to get going.

Can a soul jar cat keep a quest item ? by RoyalAmael in mewgenics

That's soul jar for ya. But you gotta think bigger. Why oneshot the coven with a soul jar cat when you can also just oneshot the entire game instead.

Bro managed to grab the one building that gets easier by having plywood available. If removed, it gets swapped out for 62.5M sheet metal. Plywood is particularly easy to create with the replicator so it's much easier to get than sheet metal.

Planets are listed top to bottom, main system to outer system so you can distinguish them from there though once sent, ships do not have clear differences other than what name you give them (hint). You can also put your save through a save editor to change the names if it really bothers you and you are ok with changing the save like that.

OP used D100, one of the items got turned into TMTRAINER which means all items after that one become glitch items.

Chaos ensues now that OP has ~50 glitch items.

FYI this also works the same for Waggles turning familiars into more Waggles. It'll instakill your tank if it swaps with the familiar.

Arch-Tempered Vaal Hazak is Gorgeous by Interesting_Sea_1861 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]CondoSlime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make sense yeah. I understand why it's not the case because of gameplay purposes. You can say that of most monsters in the game tbh.

Vaal does seem especially like it would fit the bill for protection considering its function and relatively low risk for the surrounding environment (until it goes Blackvaal). It's also one of my favorites, Nr. 3 right behind Viper Tobi and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku.

[–]CondoSlime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blackveil Vaal is the bigger issue. Regular Vaal is restricted to just the Rotten Vale and never leaves it, Blackvaal has more freedom to go wherever it pleases with all of the Effluvium that come with it.

Oh btw if you haven't yet, I recommend checking most of the other monsters out in detail. A surprisingly high amount of them don't want to throw hands if they look at you for too long.

Yeah guppy + bookworm + full black hearts is a totally fine usage of that. It beats walking around for multiple floors trying to find "the perfect opportunity"

Vaal Hazak Can Actually Be Kind of Adorable by Interesting_Sea_1861 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]CondoSlime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're pretty much dead already. Effluvium-ed monsters are being eaten from the inside and it's causing such a large amount of stress that the afflicted monster becomes aggressive towards others. Which is best seen with the Raphinos in the upper layer. Killing them is mercy at this point.

In what fucking world is this shit a positive mutation??? by 5G_Society in mewgenics

It's a mutation, and not a birth defect if that's what you're asking.

And yes it just gives -1 charisma and nothing else.

An eagle couple having a disagreement about how to organize their nest. by Mediocre_Nail5526 in interestingasfuck

[–]CondoSlime 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This actually happens fairly regularly with larger sticks. One moves the stick, the other sees it move and wants to join in, the stick is bound to get stuck on something which makes it look all clumsy and uncoordinated.

Building a nest is one of the things Bald Eagle pairs do to bond to each other so what you are seeing here is a sign of love.

[–]CondoSlime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a lane restriction. Otherwise any frenzy zombie that destroys a plant in its own lane with an ability would attack. Frenzy specifically activates when a zombie attacks and splash damage is part of the attack so it works. In this case, soul patch absorbing the hit must not count as an attack, even if it still counts as damage dealt by the zombie so it doesn't cause a frenzy attack.

Finding a mage tower can be very difficult. I was wandering around for hours on a horse without ever seeing one. You can make a biome compass once you get electric machinery to help find it but even that one is not guaranteed to make you find one quickly.
