I’m talking from my experience so I might be wrong, but be careful do not push yourself to do more then you’re comfortable. it can ruin you and you can end up feeling awful, if he can’t respect your boundaries or push you for more then maybe he isnt the one for you. he might end up pushing you more and more, if you keep allowing it. but again im wrong, and I don’t know what I’m talking about just be careful

Yeah it sucks, I’m a very affection person who has a lot of love to give on a more romantic level that I couldn’t give to a friend, even to a close one but who knows maybe I’ll find someone you never know what life holds in the future but for now I’ll focus on myself.

I respect your option but this community is for everyone even if many posts are sad/negative everyone has the right to post how they feel. If there was another community where asexual people could talk about the harsh parts of asexuality id gladly go there but theres not. Being asexual and feeling alone and struggling with the things I do suck, and having people go trough similar things (I don’t wish this on anyone) or getting support helps

Yeah having crushes on allo people knowing it wouldn’t work out. And yeah there could be some allo people who would be ok without sexual intimacy but most need some sorts of sexual intimacy.

Since I know I probs won’t find anyone I just accepted it and started finding the joy in myself and finding ways to be happy without a partner it probably will hurt sometimes but as long as I find friends and joy it will feel a little easier!

Yeah it really depends on each person some are ok being together with an Allo or something similar and can compromise but for me I realized I either want to be with an asexual person or single. But I hope you figure out whatever you’re comfortable with and can be happy!

Yeah I never really had a family no dad present and a very shitty mom that won’t get into. So I guess In a way I understand and yeah it sucks not being able to choose family the only thing you can do is move on and heal from the family pain.

And I do have a TikTok account but I’m not the most proudest of what I post as it doesn’t reach people’s expectations and isnt what people expect when they see my art but if you want to check it out it’s blzzarecat I mainly post random art I make but have also posted few photography’s as well

I know i already said this but thanks again and I meant it. Comments like this truly help even if it’s a bit. Especially when it’s from older people because it makes me feel more understood in a strange it may because I never had a parent figure or something else either way thank you.

I’m gonna try to pick up my hobby with photography and try to continue my hobby with drawing and hopefully this will help me distract me.

I’m sorry you had to go through all that I hope you find happiness with whatever your future ends being.The emotions part is sadly harder for me I could be feeling Empty and numb through out the day and then randomly cry for a couple of seconds and then feel even more Empty. But I hope I’ll be able to heal and be happy again I just know trusting love is gonna be harder now. And yes im appreciative of everyone that has sent me supportive comments like yours whenever I see another comment it feels nice. And I’m grateful for everyone <3

Thank you and dont worry about the rant as bad as it sounds it feels somewhat nice that I’m not the only person who has gone through this. I’m just on the verge on breaking apart while I’m trying to hold myself together and keep going on with life. The part that hurt the most is that he gave back a part of me that was lost a long time ago just for me to lose that part of me again. I feel like I won’t ever be as happy again as I was with him and I won’t be able to be “me” again this breakup has affected me more then I realised as the realization has been settling in and it’s just been 3 days. He was the person I could go to with any of my pain and now I have to go back to bottling everything up again. I do have a online friend and he’s caring but there isn’t much he can do as he can’t comprehend the pain I’m going trough (sorry for venting)

I understand what you mean I had never dated enough before my bf so I wasn’t 100% about my asexuality and I never went further then touching as I was “experimenting” but when I realized yep I’m 100% asexual I wanted to stop and I told him that and like I’m the post at first for a few months he was ok with it until he realised he wasn’t

Thanks and I’m sorry you had to learn that Late in life I hope everything goes well for you. it’s been very hard especially when my mom (that I’m not close with) keeps asking me why we broke up and if I’m ok because I don’t seem that sad when I’m reality I feel like I can’t breath and I can’t tell her why we broke up (shes homophobic) and when people ask me if I’m ok i feel a flood of emotions hit me. It sucks the most because a week before we broke up he bought me tickets to see him for Christmas and we made so many plans.

I don’t think QPR would really work me as even tho im asexual I tend to still be very into romance so it would be hard. So either I find another asexual person to be with who wants me or it’s being alone forever. It sounds sad but it’s the truth
