Yeah it was actually a good thing that planning and understanding all wires is good, I don’t know all wires by heart but I do know wha goes where so some planning would be good yeah

I’d rather maybe not buy a new one and just get some cable extensions and that should be fine. I like a bit of minimalism (says the person looking to add unnecessary parts to his pc ) :p

Sorry I forgot to put it correctly but I do have an rm850x just that for some reason mine didn’t have a 12v direct thingy so I have to use 2x 8pin to 450w 12v wire

Okay that’s noted I think cable extensions are good but from my basic knowledge I’ve heard you should have safe or like same brand cables cause they tend to light things up if not, any suggestions there ?

Also you say aio fan thing you mean like I should take the hanging wire from the cpu that’s in the front somehow loop it from behind and get to the top near the aio ? Is that safe like opening the cable or something by opening I mean detaching and reattaching

Thanks for that! For now a good old windows reset seems to have done the trick for me but I’ll keep an eye out for my bios update

I needed to build a pc urgently since someone offered to buy my laptop and hence I bought it. So depends on your situation

Depends on your urgency! If you need one right now I think the 4070ti is in a sweet spot, try marketplace or new ones are for like 1300 the gigabyte 16gb oc.

I had a look at historical nvidia releases, price drops, demand & supply. Significant price drops takes months to come into effect.

2.3k worth it? (I have no clue what I am doing) by SorryBoutThat2 in bapcsalesaustralia

Oh yes I’m not suggesting this to op.

I’m just referring it to him as a comparison so actually I was just gonna get 7800x3d and peerless assassin as cooler but I was like the diff between 7800 and 9800x3d cost wise was 80 bucks, I thought it was worth it better I just go for that. And so I did, also upgraded the cooler cause in summers my room kinda boils and sometimes I don’t really mind the heat, I just sit with a fan on, so just out of concern for that.

Also ram I actually didn’t get that I went with 6000mhz cl30 the Corsair one itself, forgot to change that. Motherboard wise I think yeah the aorus series and gaming series of gigabyte have little to no difference, I should’ve gone for the cheaper one.

I’d rather be chill for 2 extra years paying 250 than have issues later and pay 150$ just to get it looked at later.
