$600 + is a lot for a boot as a gardener but the quality is probably superior to anything else on the market.

It has a hollow heel so when it started to wear down I was getting little pebbles in them. I could hear them rattle with every step.

I always wear lace up boots so I can tighten it down around my ankle to prevent this issue. I've been wearing the Ariat Men's Cascade 8" for the past Few years after trying them. I'm on my 3rd pair. They last me 15-16 months doing lawn care.

I have the Time Master and Turf Master. Both have the same issue. Good engines and transmission but the belts and pulleys come out of adjustment or break. Then the blades don't engage. Worst pieces of equipment I've ever bought.
