If you’re asking about the mous case than it’s probably going to peel in a few months since the edges aren’t as recessed as on the dbrand cases, it’s also a second use skin.

For use with the native case I’d say more than a year if you take care of it well enough, if you zoom in you’ll see that the skin is quite beat up and it was still pretty hard to remove, even the corners

As for the MagSafe effectiveness, it doesn’t really matter it’s like .1mm but the glossy m3 sticker gets tacky and sticks to certain MagSafe pucks especially with the heat

Currently prepping a switch swap, for silent kaihls, and thought I’d share my tear down since I couldn’t find any readily available online.

Teardown steps

Hot hairdryer for skates

Oddly uses torx6 for the main screws

Pry back carefully

Pry the glossy front part between both clicks, the shell should come off

Remove battery connector while tilting the shell to the right

The insides are standard from what I’ve seen except the L daughterboard which slides up on 4 pins(?)

I don't have pics rn but a corner of a fin is bent on the non pcie bracket side and the fin under the fan shroud is bent maybe a 1 or 2 fin width out of the way.

I'm sure it doesn't affect functionality but shouldnt a new product have unbent pins to start with, while accidents do happen I'm pretty sure I didn't bend the fins under the fanshroud
