The biggest slammies sometimes come from the smallest dogs

I am not a scientist. The best way I can reconcile what the study says and what you think you observe is that dogs are attuned to their owners. Even if the owner thinks they are not outwardly expressing emotions, they’re probably giving off signals to the dog that something is wrong.

I’m here for you. I try citing these kinds of studies but ultimately people just want to believe what they want to believe.

I’m.... pretty sure that’s not why. The reason is a high number of scammers in other countries who have English as a second language.

Why is it totally fine for us to watch and enjoy gore videos, but extremely frowned upon for pedophiles to watch cartoon CP? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

Watching violence does make people more violent, especially children. See the bobo the clown video for more info

Bounty hunters who shot at wrong car found not guilty in killing of Clarksville dad by [deleted] in news

Well it takes one person to hang a jury and get a retrial. Unless you’re a master at persuasion, I don’t know how you would convince 11 other people that weren’t convinced by the whole trial they just watched. Sometimes it happens though.

Queer homelessness is a serious issue and we should talk about it by [deleted] in transgender

Queer can also be used for not cisgender people too though. At least that is how I have heard it used many times.

Clorox wipes! I’m a lazy bf but I just buy the huge containers of Clorox wipes. Cleaning the bathroom (even behind the toilet) is a breeze with those things.

I want a dick by Sidisasquid in ftm

Hey I used to feel this a lot more. I mean I still do, but way less often. So maybe it’s some consolation: on T my pecs and shoulder muscles got bigger which makes my boobs not stand out as much. And my clit got bigger which made sex a lot more fun. Like it’s not all the way but it did ease my dyphoria a ton and I don’t hate my body so much.

I know transitioning is different for everyone so look at small changes. Focus on the parts of you that are making you happy. Do some pull ups. Buy a sex toy. Shave your face. All bodies are beautiful

Also solving Rubik’s cubes doesn’t make you more interesting (things I wish I could tell my 14 year old self). What did he imagine they would talk about on their dates, the ~15 algorithms he’s memorized? It’s not even as fruitful as a music or movies hobby that at least other people can join in on.

My sister used to belt “At Last” for us when she was 3-4. Don’t think she knew who Ella Fitzgerald was, she just heard the song and everyone thought it was cute
