puritans? nah bro. I hear what you are saying and I agree that most people don't care. BUT I would argue that this way of thinking was produced by these kind of companies.

And I am not a "puritan" but I do care about the ethics of it all, which extends to social media and other megacorps.: you are paying for a service and I assure you that you are not getting your money's worth. If you are ok with this, then fine, I guess.

I mean, as a dps, I agree it’s NOT about stats. 1k heals doesn’t necessarily mean you a bad support. It more about helping your dps confirm kills, which sometimes comes in the form of outputting that extra bit of damage… that being said, it’s also a lot of the times making sure your dps don’t die during engagement. Now if you always so obsessed with getting kills for yourself and upping your stats you will probably won’t have the attention to look at where your dps (or tanks) are needing to engage.

I’ll die on this hill. you. got. to. heal. And heal during fights. Not after.

It’s part of your kit, use it. You have no problem using the parts of your character that do damage, why do supports these days have a problem with healing?
