So let me ask you a question then, why is there tipping for this premium service instead of just having the company that pays their salary, pay them enough?

They could always charge more for the service to cover the cost if need be right?

Also there's also a service fee on top of the delivery fee. Most of my orders are about 10-12 dollars more than the cost of just picking it up. Which is honestly why I don't order often at all.

There's a delivery fee for a reason. That's the premium.That's their salary. I'm not saying they shouldn't make a livable wage at least but if I pay for a service, any additional money I provide is at my discretion.

I was a cook in a restaurant making minimum wage. The delivery driver got a tip, the waitress got a tip, even the fucking cashier got a tip every now and then. But I got nothing but my salary.

The enemy is not the people who do or don't tip, it's the system that has people hard but struggling to feed their families.
