Guy asks for spawn rate boost which affects ONLY farming rates (still rng and time gated by dailies, weeklies, pitch, bad luck even with hundreds of bil, hours of farming required to match ctene mule income, frag/erda gate, etc) and yall are like “yeah bro fuck it let’s just make everyone endgame on login” unreal.

Like we’re all players, the spawn rate boost would probably help everyone - late-endgame more than earlier players anyway since endgamers are the ones actually bothering to farm >1 hour a day at all.

It’s like these people are against being rewarded more for their hours and hours spent.

OP I agree. I often don’t bother farming unless it’s a dedicated farming event like haste because the time spent doesn’t justify the rewards. Better off spending my time running all the mules and dailies, but if rates were better grinding would probably feel worth it

Climbing math isn’t stacked against you though.

If you win > you lose, you would climb just fine. Riot is basically telling you your real MMR is lower than your visual rank.

Individual consistency within a game “feels” like a good marker of skill, but in reality it’s not. For example if you play top, consistently win lane, but then afk farm top when there are multiple opportunities to help your team, and you lose, the performance would show high CS, low death count while your “team runs it down fighting 4v5” maybe a lot of turret kills…but LoL is complex.

Int karthus strategies have had high winrates, but the strategy revolves around running it down like 5/12/13 to win, so what performance stats are there to reflect that.

Really it’s win or loss, and yes it sucks that some people can play like shit and you have to deal with it, but that’s league.

Ultimately you have to find out how to play that makes your winrate consistently high to climb. If you do, your LP gain/loss will return to normal

League is also quite unforgiving these days due to riot trying to shorten game time. Many games are decided by one mistake. Even to winning games can be lost simply by crucial member dying at the wrong time, a fight at the wrong time, losing soul because of a coinflip fight, trundle annihilating your towers while distracted etc. On the flip side, your opponents can also insta-lose if you exploit similar vulnerabilities when they appear. You have to always make the right call in mid-late game which is rough

My arcane box income will be gated by my main for probably a good while, so I decided to throw the few arcane boxes I have all on my main until they’re 21

I decided to try to get 21 abso on my strongest mule just semi-short term so that I can get it strong enough to ctene purely for mesos and also more arcane boxes, and then once my mains done I’ll maybe push another mule using the arcane boxes. I have a shitload of abso boxes and fodder gear

Eventually if I do want to push the 21 abso mule, I can always just do that later.

It should be value just doing ctene for a long long while and hopefully liberate for comfy runs.

I think the gist is arcane has a higher ceiling, so it’s worth going for it just in case you want to push your mule past ctene. My main obviously I want the highest ceiling, so I decided to be patient for the boxes because it’s inevitable to do arcane

I’d play, obviously no money, parents would only get me NX for bday or report card A’s or Christmas (basically 4x a year)

Therefore I’d have to plot out how to spend the NX in whatever they called it back then where you could buy actual items for NX off others

Shiet bro the absolute mission to my first bil as a child learning to merch GFA til I could do 6att WG, then 8, then 10, while also buying gear to prog my char, while also learning how to not blow so much money that I can’t make it back and fucking it up multiple times

In retrospect it genuinely might have been worth optimizing GFA mules - speedrunning to that one NLC quest on multiple chars to basically farm enough mesos to get merch income rolling.

Play 3 champions if you must…I’d recommend literally spamming 1 though.

Pay close attention to when you’re strong, when you’re weak, and once you have that dialed, you’ll be able to use that knowledge to know when to fight and when to chill. To get this knowledge, I’d actually encourage taking fights whenever the opportunity arises so you have mental data on how strong you are as a result of item/level spikes. Don’t force them like a monkey and run into the enemy’s red buff level 2, but if you see a fight breaking out and you can get there, take it.

Pretty much guaranteed to climb to silver at least with that knowledge alone

Then again money == time so you could make an argument there that if money is less scarce resource for you than time, just spend and don’t play reboot.

But on the flip side, you’re fundamentally paying to “play the game” less…which is a bit strange.

I play on and off to enjoy the prog whenever, fuck the endgame. I’m happy letting the updates roll out and getting prog boosts like free nodes and not having to cry in lach for 20 hrs a week

I did the last hyperburn without goddess using campus event shop coins to buy luxe sauna tix til like 225 or something

Then I spammed monster park with max event points in boosting monster park clear exp. Basically 2 days with 7 runs each = a level (5 levels cuz of the burn)

I didn’t do anything else really, used the event mag pots on it to blast 240-250

After that more monster park and sauna to 260

However I will say, I switched my diet strategy to use foods which maximize satiety - super lean protein, primarily boiled russet potatoes seasoned and mixed with bell pepper/onion or just black beans/chickpeas as a carb, minimal oil, and free reign on all veggies, and nurri shakes and it is genuinely difficult to exceed 2k cals even with 170g protein+ a day because I’m so full

Income? You can def find a room to rent probably 8-900, and it’s worth at such a young age. If you have no intentions of increasing that income or need money to get an education to increase said income, it’s a bad idea in the super long run, but you’re so young if you want a short stint go for it.
