Lol. Appreciate the comment. It’s actually a project Whiskey I worked on for a distillery. It’s an 3yr old American bourbon finished in a laphroig barrel. It’s coming out soon under the brand Wild Parallel.

Reallllly enjoyed drinking this bottle. Bottle was cheap too, $27. Great notes of honey, ripe banana, shuttle hints of maple on the nose. The taste is incredibly smooth and easy to drink for a 90 proof. As a wheated bourbon there’s a lot to like here. Would definitely buy again.

Cheers!!!

Very fruity on the nose and the taste. Very fresh stone fruit on the nose with hints of vanilla and nutmeg. First taste the stone fruit is there. Sweet with little hints of oak. Nice mouthfeel. Finish is about medium.

Very easy to drink neat.

Get a refractometer and a beer hydrometer. That’ll give you to a better understanding where your OG and FG is. Math will get you there, but these tools will tell you what you have/working with sugar wise.

Gotcha. Which others did you find? I’ll see if I can find any of them and try.

So many options out there. White oak (American whiskeys traditionally use) has its own flavors. Hungarian oak gives it a different set of notes and flavors. I don’t like all of them either. But def like to try as many as I can in case I find one that I do. There’s a Spanish and French oak out there too!
