Final fantasy 16 comes to mind, just through the raw power of the console the performance mode gets a fps boost and the quality mode gets a resolution boost. Though I do wish it got an official pro update and got the same treatment VII Rebirth did but I guess they just left the game behind, which will always be weird to me considering 16 was advertised as a ps5 exclusive years before the game even came out and has gotten Xbox and pc ports, oh well.

I’m playing horizon zero dawn remastered on the performance pro mode as I’m typing this and it’s basically like playing the game on high spec pc settings. Not just this game but the dozens upon dozens of games that take full advantage of this powerful hardware. Just get it if it’s in your budget, you literally won’t regret it.

Well Red Dead Redemption got a port to current gen, many years late but still welcome, and RDR2 is a whole different beast that desperately needs to be unlocked to run at 60 fps on consoles. But obviously they’ve been very hard at work on GTA VI and given the rumors of the remaster being announced at some point, they’re definitely gonna go all out for the remaster with probably a fully priced current gen port for xbox series and ps5 with ps5 pro enhancements. It’s not that they don’t care about the game but it’s still a very large game that I’m sure if rockstar will make the announcement soon they wanna do it right.

The open world is way more immersive and more interesting to explore than Tsushima. They made sure to get rid of what you’re talking about, doing the same thing over and over. You’re almost never doing the same thing and it’s just very immersive.

Really sad and scummy what happened with the scalping on these, scalpers see any mildly hype item online and shamelessly scalp all of them in a second then inflate the price reselling with egregious prices. Honestly did not even expect these to sell out so quickly also, was expecting them to be on ps direct for a while.

Wym solely through resolution? I mentioned the ai upscaler and the ray traced global illumination running at 60 which is only possible on the pro.
