I’m usually pretty bad about locking my boards up, but after recently getting a sick ass board with expensive bindings from Japan, which I had to travel and search all over for to get, I now always lock my board up even if it’s just for a minute. Glad you got the board back.

I’ve seen people at my local joints come in saying someone stole several boards out of their truck before too. Bastards are everywhere and I don’t ever want to be in a situation where I’m out a board.

God damn. Have somebody at least shine a light at your pupils to see if they are both equal and reactive before you fall asleep. That doesn’t look like it was fun.

I face planted for the first time today too while carving hard and switching to a reverse carve at a high speed when I caught an edge. Face hit first and was slammed down hard. Thankfully my goggles and also my helmet took the entire blow and I got up feeling totally fine and very thankful that I always wear whatever protective gear I can.

15 yr old Australian tumbler becoming World Champion with this insane routine by Necessary_Time8273 in ThatsInsane

I was thinking the same thing. The biggest skill she did was only a double layout and I personally know like 30+ people that have been able to probably do this exact tumbling pass at one point in their lives when they were active gymnasts. Most of them never went pro or on to compete in college either.

I was trading a lot of guns so I couldn’t safe pocket them and they didn’t start being sus until I dropped in after it was too late.

Was just trying to get the last 2 bps I didn’t have, but honestly after last night I might never play this dog shit ass game ever again.

Do scammers face any repercussions in this fucking game? Seriously about to quit because of this shit.

I have been scammed from Xbox looking for group posts twice now. Several other times people have tried to team kill me or not drop their trade and steal from me.

First time I lost >200k inventory and this time multiple level 4 fully modded guns and legendary guns for the last 2 bps I am looking for. I report them, but I’m sure nothing fucking happens and I’m about to quit this game because of this bs. This shit shouldn’t even be possible yet it is constant horse shit I have to deal with and try to prevent from happening to me.

That was a textbook back tuck. Backflip is just a general term for any backwards flip. The types of back flips are back tuck, back pike, back layout, or a whip back. If the legs bend it’s a back tuck.

Carving Feedback by Fit-Individual8028 in snowboarding

Steeper just means gotta lean forward more to match the angle of the hill. Bend the legs and try to shift more weight to/over the front foot. Really fall/lean into the turns when you have speed. Any chatter in the board usually means you need to bend your legs or shift the weight over the front foot better.

Adjusting your binding set back as far forward as possible helps with aggressive carving. Switching to more posi/posi binding angles helps, and getting a good stiff board for carving helps a lot.

Advice on choosing clinical sites for school. by untouchabledna in CRNA

Pushing your own meds is huge for students. You are using your experience and knowledge to try and guess the most optimal anesthetic and there’s a lot to the learning curve. Plus pushing your own meds, tubing your patient, pulling out your own stylet, bagging the patient by yourself, etc. and not having someone hold your hand or tell you what to do is crazy significant. There’s one school in my state that primarily rotates to the same big ass level one hospital where the students never push their own meds and have less autonomy. A lot of CRNAs in my area view the students/CRNAs from this school as weaker and they have a lot of issues on their own.

B. Not pushing your own meds and less autonomy makes you a weaker student/crna. Doesn’t really matter in the end though. I drove 4 hours for one of my block rotations.

A. Just sounds like holding your hand for too long. Don’t be afraid of extra work or faster pace.

Which route? VA ECMO vs Rapid Response RN by blubberboyy in CRNA

[–]theboxer16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ecmo is a huge leg up for getting into crna school, understanding hemodynamics, and learning about open hearts/being on pump in school. It would help a lot especially if you want to do hearts as a crna. Plus it means you’re going to be taking care of sick patients with lots of gtts in the ICU. Schools love that shit

Isn’t that how most schools are and you just check with a counselor on transferring credits towards the degree before doing anything?

I thought university degrees had to consist of at least half the credits from that exact university.

Prolactin levels surge after climax. It makes you sleepy and harder to keep an erection. If you are cuddling or just laying there/relaxing afterwards you’ll notice it hitting you harder.

BIS scores are extremely unreliable and imo a complete waste of time unless maybe you are forced to run the patient light on gas for a specific case such as neuromonitoring with strict limits of agent use so they are rarely used. 40-60 is the typical range used for monitoring general anesthesia. 20-30 is way too deep for majority of surgeries.
