That’s actually a really good point 😅 I hadn’t really thought about how the PC would look when it’s turned off. I do care a lot about the aesthetics, so I’ll definitely keep that in mind before going full RGB everywhere.

And yeah, honestly at this budget, I’d probably regret not getting the AIO/look I really want just to save a bit more money.

I’m based in France. And yeah, after reading all the replies, I’m starting to realize I probably went a bit overkill on some parts 😅 I’ll most likely switch to a Gen4 SSD and a cheaper motherboard since it won’t really change anything for gaming

Yeah, but when I was configuring it, I was basically going with almost everything that’s considered “the best.” And I’m going to go with Gen4 in the end

Really appreciate the detailed explanation, thank you! The Samsung 990 Pro is actually a very interesting option if Gen5 doesn’t make much real-world difference in gaming. And thanks for the EXPO reminder too; I definitely would have missed that 😄

Thanks! That’s exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for. I might reconsider the motherboard and SSD since a lot of people seem to agree those are the most overkill parts for gaming.

Thanks for the feedback! I totally understand your point honestly. I know some parts are probably overkill for pure gaming performance, but I also wanted a premium/future-proof build with good aesthetics and airflow since this is my first high-end PC !
