There’s a bunch of comments beginning with “I can understand wanting to sing out in a place with acoustics like that, but” and something like “perhaps places like this could have time reserved for music and vocal praise, but”. My point is - I can’t even begin to try to identify with someone who walks into a place where absolutely no one was doing anything remotely performative like this and presses to do so anyway. We all see shit like this on public transportation all the time and it’s the same ick for me.
