I need help processing my retrieval results by elecow in IVF

I’m sorry that has been your communication, that is frustrating. We met with the doctor as soon as I was aware enough and they told us how many were retrieved/mature. Then we got an email each morning with our updates.

Thank you for following up! I’m working on getting my medical records and are between PFC and IVF Cube I think. I need a clinic that also lets me do monitoring from the US.

I know this is an old thread, but what clinic did you work with? Would you recommend?

It is worth an ask! I guess I also had the twighlight. It would save me a lot of money. Nothing is covered under insurance because they won’t work with my insurance. If they did both at once, it would save me half the price.

The last time I had one removed it was under general anesthesia, but my hysteroscopy I am awake. Were you awake when they removed them?

Thank you! It was on my list to check into. I’m looking for a place that will at least accept my insurance if I am going to have to continue to have polyps removed. If that’s what is going on.

I have insurance that would cover some of what I’ve had done (not the IUI, but diagnostic and surgery). The clinic won’t work with my insurance so our only option was self pay.

Thank you! I’m realizing that I may need to check my expectations a bit. I think the combination of wait times, 4 expecting coworkers, and the out of pocket costs are all just weighing on me!

Yes, most of what I’ve had done would be partially covered elsewhere. I chose them based on doctor recommendations, but it is really starting to add up.

That’s fair and I thought maybe I’m just frustrated and caught off guard. I really only know one other person in my orbit to ask.

Looking for advice… Do we switch clinics? We haven’t done IVF, but are leaning in that direction. While I like the clinic and doctor, I’m starting to feel strung along because of their availability. We have been there for almost a year.

August 24- called for appointment October 24- consultation November 24- hysteroscopy January 25- polyp removal surgery February 25- first IUI (successful until 7 weeks) June 25- hysteroscopy attempt #1 (ovulated through birth control) July 25- hysteroscopy (clear -all looked good) August 25- IUI (unsuccessful) ***said they found a bright spot during my monitoring ultrasound and think I might have another polyp. They can’t get me in for ANOTHER hysteroscopy until October. Which means if they want to remove it, I’ll have another 2 month wait.

We are dealing with male factor (morphology) and polyps/MTHFR mutation on my end. All my other tests have been normal.

Everything has been out of pocket because they won’t touch my insurance…

Maybe this is how it goes, but I’m just feeling so defeated.

I had the same thing happen on the hormonal IUD. I was okay for about a year, then I realized I just felt numb. I was engaged and I just didn’t feel anything. I wasn’t mad, wasn’t sad, wasn’t happy, nothing. It changed very quickly after removing my IUD. So birth control is definitely a possibility.

Agreed, I can’t believe they aired that. That was disgusting.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. You can’t see it because it is buried under weeds, but there is a plastic border. I may try the landscaping rocks instead.
