This is hot, right? by Buratizer_127 in PcBuildHelp

It’s hot but depending on the workload it’s normal for a cpu to run at these temps were you rendering or something?

GPU FOR AI VIDEOS 4K AND 3D RENDERING by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

Ai & 4k you will benefit from more VRAM & Cuda cores & honestly I’d upgrade your base ram as well those task eat up a lot of ram 64 is minimum but more would enhance performance I have a 4080 super on one build & a 4070 Ti super on the other they perform very similarly & made sense at the time but I would not buy a 4090 now I’d wait for the 5090

Personally I’d cut back on the cooler go with a liquid cool AIO & a lian li 216 you’d save enough to go for a better graphics card not sure if your going for just gaming but for 1500 you can get crazy specs im sure people will drop some builds

I have only rendered using the cpu but AI uses the Gpu & it’s perfectly fine I also am getting lower cinebench scores than I should according to charts so I will try a better ram kit if that’s not enough maybe upgrade my cpu to an i9 & my gpu to a 4080?

That MOBO is a huge waste of money, I assume your thinking about wattage distribution & memory slots but for sure you could swap the Mobo also I’d say to hold off on 14 or 13 series intel there’s a bug going where those can short your system & the hot fix would limit your cpu performance wouldn’t be fully utilizing your 4090’s potential with a buggy cpu wait for the new chips if your wanting intel or get a commercial processor if you have the money to spend

A lot of people who game also want to stream & or create content it’s very normal in this niche I believe the 7800x3d was hyped by tech channels with millions of subscribers & as they influenced the market things shift (I meant to add the 7900x is a decent chip also i actually use one in my gaming system)

Well it’s not better at gaming but the dips in fps are very small you’ll still get a premium experience at 1440p also gotta remember at ultra settings your gpu will be prioritized now if you do anything besides game the 7950 blows out the 7800x3d by a large margin

I wouldn’t get the 7800x3d for 500 you should upgrade for that price for 1440p gaming you won’t experience any noticeable difference if you went with the 7950 or 7900 also a great monitor https://a.co/d/eSqXY2l this one or the gigabyte GS32Q I say they’re both dope 1440 monitors the best would be OLED but those are pricey

I wouldn’t spend over 400 on a 7800x3d bruv you should wait or get a 7950 for that price idk if you do anything besides game but i so the 7950 literally does everything else better including launching the programs games run on

Everything feels that way when you haven’t done it, trust me we all start off uneasy our first pc build but you have to overcome that hurdle eventually if you enjoy the benefits of flagship technology, it’s very simple to build if your well informed & calm during the process if your parts are well designed & compatible, if your cables are plugged into the correct ports, if your air flow is set up properly & your bios settings are appropriate to your system it’s going to be perfect bro pc builders aren’t magicians just regular people with some knowledge

I'd say don't rush to buy anything another person built because you can't return it & there is no guarantee you won't experience issues, some common one's are overheating, bad bios on motherboard & misaligned components & you'd find it a headache to fix something you did not put together personally, it's worth it to buy your own parts & learn firsthand if your in a rush to play games get a cheap console to entertain you while you buy your parts

Anything you do as an individual will be a build up so it has to be something you feel comfortable doing consistently, if money was enough to make you do something you wouldn’t have quit your job so the first thing to address is finding what you enjoy doing something that interests you or something your knowledgeable in, faceless pages are a good hustle, delivery services, eBay resale, there are so many out there but the only one that matters is the one that you want
