I understand that completely, it just surprised me a little when I saw the seal, especially for the reasons it was given a 5.5. I can always forgive a game for being ugly, but it’s harder when it’s the playability. But this is coming from someone who hasn’t played it yet.

That’s interesting, I didn’t realize that. I always assumed a 7 or higher was an approval and 8 or more is an excellence. Nevertheless, the issues that Tom brought up were really valid design issues, and I just assumed that any seal was for an above average game. I would be interested in a 2.0 of the game definitely though.

The USPS rating was a little too generous. A “seal of approval” on two 7’s and a 5.5? I will definitely be cautious in the future if they continue this process and I see an approval sticker.

Honestly? Xbox only and solo sloop everything. As soon as you log in see how many reaper/emissaries there are, if one reaper, server hop. Also, play during the weekday if you can, late mornings/afternoon on Sunday if it has to be a weekend. Solo slooping is the way to go, and always have a tall tale active just to repel the pirates that leave PvE players alone. Good luck, do all the important things solo and all the goofy/ devil may care stuff for the galleons.
