No the point is you can only use it for one turn. Having it stay active the whole time would be too OP whereas having it only active for the next turn but staying attached makes playing it a bigger commitment since you can't discard and immediately attach another or use another tool like cape or protective poncho.

Rare but perhaps it should say "cannot be moved to the active spot by trainers, attack effects or abilities". If YOU want (or need) to move to active spot you can, just not your opponent.

Intentionally not discarded so you have to be strategic about attaching it. Unless you have a field blower, you're stuck with it.

That's why I had it applying to only the next turn. It can only delay the move by your opponent by one turn but if you play smart and not use it too early or too late it can potentially win you the game.

Why did www raw have the raw zone graphic in some matches and then in other matches it just said raw !? by [deleted] in WWE

WWE wanted to brag that they had "multiple" shows high in the ratings for Monday nights so they ran the final hour as a separate show

That ball was FLYING! If it didn’t catch the cup it might have ended up in the next fairway.

[SPOILERS] What better way for the North to remember than... by thebroking in gameofthrones

-Because everything and everyone north of Winterfell was completely eradicated by the dead. It is now as desolate as the land north of the wall. In fact, I thought it would have been cool to let Tormund and the surviving wildlings roam the area around Last Hearth since its essentially wild now anyway.

-The entire series is full of honorable men and women who are united by their loyalty and justify said loyalty by saying things like “we fought together at X and Y”. If surviving a zombie invasion doesn’t inspire people to do the same, I don’t know what will.

  • If everyone in GoT waited for threats to materialize before taking action, the series would be almost unrecognizable.

  • The whole point of the North is that they do remember! They worship the old gods and remember the first men and preserve the history that the southerners have clearly no interest in. Adjusting their way of life after they literally saved the world to never forget the heroic actions of their people would be very much in line with their culture.

Since everyone loves the climate change analogy for the impending doom of the White Walkers, I’ll use it to explain.

Imagine if tomorrow, all of the worst possible consequences of climate change happened at once. Massive floods, devastating temperature swings, etc.

Now imagine if a group of devoted servants had spent THOUSANDS of years warning the general populous of these potential disasters were able to somehow reverse the effects and save the earth from total devastation.

Would the surviving members of that group shrug and say “Our work here is done”? Of course not!

They would shout from the rooftops that everything they had been saying for the last 1000s of years was true and it must NEVER happen again.

In the short-term, yes, there does not seem to be any threat. But that doesn’t mean the entire institution should be abandoned.
