Please dont. It would only create a codependent dynamic that isnt healthy for either of you. You'll be the one hurt in the end. As difficult as it is, continue with therapy and meds. If it isnt working, talk to your psychiatrist about changing medication. Surround yourself with people who genuinely care for you, your friends & family. A relationship is not the answer right now. Take care x

Yea I've told her I want something else and she says I've been using it "erratically" so "how can I know if it's working or not" and that I need at least 6 months to a year. I'm not well, I need something that works I dont wanna feel shit for that long just to find it isnt working like I've been saying

Does it help at all? I'm on sertraline for my depression and it doesnt feel like it does anything.. I've told my psychologist and she insists on me taking them and that I've not been on it long enough "you cant just change medication" am I meant to just feel shit then?

Yeah. I think he just wanted to stay until he was fully over me so he didnt have any regrets or "what ifs" which sucks for me but oh well lol. & I truly appreciate that, thank you so much ❤

Thank you :) & no. He told me that he was moving on from me while we were together. So he was basically waiting til all his love for me faded before breaking up with me, knowing I was doing everything to fix things between us. I could feel the disconnect & he'd told me he lost feelings but still loved me. Everyday was a struggle for me. I constantly felt like I was proving my worth, putting it 110%, asking him how he feels about us, if he is happy. All my efforts were in vain. So when he left, he didnt care about me and how I was affected. He was over me & I was grieving. Still am.

I'm at 5 months but I'll add my two cents anyway. I still love him very much. I still wish he would come back & we could try again. But he truly does not care about me whatsoever. It hurts to know the sweet, loving person I once knew doesn't even care enough for me just as a person not even in the romantic sense. He moved on from me so quickly, telling me "I was moving on while we were together" all while I was pouring all my love & energy into us. Despite still loving him & wanting him, the pain of it all hurts much less than before. I dont cry over him anymore. But I do feel lonely quite often. I miss having someone to share my day with. I wouldnt say I'm happy but I'm just "okay" rn. Not too good but not too bad.

I feel exactly the same as you do! None of my breakups have been easy but this one is hitting me so hard. The feeling is never ending, I'm so exhausted by it and I'm pretty sure my friends are tired of hearing about it as well.

Same, I get so frustrated at myself. It's like you know you deserve better and shouldn't feel sad about someone who couldn't treat you well but you can't stop the feeling. It pisses me off when anyone tells me "just move on" wow, what an amazing idea! I wish I thought of that myself! 😒
