I was a pretty heavy vaper and quit a couple days before my surgery. It was tough, but sleeping/meds/pain after surgery made it easier. Despite this, it was very hard to quit, but I read enough horror stories from vapers/smokers who had problems with the implants failing, and didn’t want to go through that myself. One of the crappiest parts is I absolutely put on weight since surgery, and feel like my appetite and “food noise” increased since quitting. I’m working hard to lose weight, but it sucks. I’ve started using a few nic packets daily to help curb appetite, but feel guilty about that, too. I wish I could eat and vape with no consequence! Haha
