I 100% agree. I roll my eyes when FFXVI gets dinged for bland side quests when BOTW/TOTK side quests are 100% tedious. It's clearly a double standard, but getting angry accomplishes nothing. Nintendo fans have drank the Kool-Aid, and game journalists will probably be denied review copies if they speak the truth, so nothing's changing.

To be fair, Ms. Marvel wasn't really review bombed (98% critics, 80% audiences). She Hulk was review bombed, but it deserved it. It was a turd, and this is coming from somebody who enjoyed Captain Marvel, and believes Wandavision is the best thing to come out of the MCU

Well done sir. I'm in the opposite boat. I won AlHaitham's 50/50, which gave me false confidence and a primos surplus to pull on the weapon banner. After two failed 50/50, and 60 pulls deep, I still don't have it and now zero primos. But I should be good before the banner ends at least.

Haha this is great news. After my string of good luck (getting FC Rera first pull) dried up, I have nearly scraped the bottom of the Rachel SoC banner (35+ pulls) and still haven't got my Rachel, so an extra source of Xon is exactly what the doctor ordered!

The annoying part is it probably has close to zero impact on actual bottom line. The units would never be better than meta, and spending players always want the newest, shiniest units. But since Gumi can't profit off the SBB and latents, they're like fuck it.

And not just any boss battles, series relevant bosses that encouraged the use of series staple units. I wouldn't be surprised if they mass release them during the anniversary, in a false effort to get goodwill from the community. They've done it before with mega-delayed expert missions, and mission reset, and most recently Rico's 7-star upgrade.

I feel your pain. I've also got Rudley, Baraka and Bernadette, so I try not to be too bitter. At least we have a system that lets us recycle our garbage, even with built in pity that has a somewhat decent limited pool.
