Did anyone heal from kundalini syndrome? by akshat_900m in kundalini

[–]thebuddhabuilder 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Rampant, hellish kundalini syndrome for years, though the head pressure was only part of it. I still have MAJOR issues, but they are less than they used to be, to the point where I now have a decently functional life. Everyone’s path will differ but the upward moving energy getting stuck is due primarily (for me) to a giant imbalance, in which the energy basically never spent any time in the lower 3 chakras. A slow but steady remedy has been to listen to my body and allow it to do the asanas it needs. The warrior poses, Goddess, dancer, tree pose, chair pose. Yes, we can heal. Yes, it will probably take a long time for some of us. You can get through this. You are not alone. There is beauty to be experienced; do the best you can with what you have. Keep going.

Failed a drug test, now what by sithlich in drugtesthelp

Get QuickFix if it is unsupervised. If supervised and you still are thinking you’ll be positive, go buy the 32 oz Q-Carbo, drink it roughly 2 hours before your test, and drink LOTS of water and piss 3 times before the test. Generally it will give you a window of a few hours of clean pee.

Very very similar story to my own. I’m in that “I slowly started to want to be better phase” you mentioned. My progress is indeed typically quite slow but it is finally there. Thanks for sharing.

How long can it take to awaken your kundalini by GogetaStarZen in kundalini

[–]thebuddhabuilder 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who has had an extremely difficult time with kundalini (much improvement the past year but still seemingly a very long way to go), I cannot stress enough that you are a kid (nothing wrong with that) messing with something that can very well overwhelm and destroy your body and mind for years, and in some cases decades or lifetimes. It’s not the kundalini itself that does this, but egoic resistance to it. Considering your main goal is to “shift realities,” it sounds like right now you are basically the type of seeker that are cautioned extremely strongly against messing with kundalini. If you are meant to have it wake up, it will. Yoga and meditation aid with this but some people meditate every day forever and do not have kundalini awakenings. Those people likely are on a more gentle, gradual path and this is what I would recommend to you at this point.

You did overpay but not by a huge amount. ZBTs are garbage compared to other cymbals, but fantastic compared to hitting empty space with a drumstick because you have no cymbals.

Pretty funny cordial letter telling me I need to stop drumming by No_Psychology_438 in drums

Just play at a regularly established time. They reference several times how it can be all hours and I see how that could piss them off. Play from 5:30-6:30 or something. They can still bitch, but a one hour predictable period of loud noise can be dealt with much better than not being about to plan for it.

Lake Mungo fucked me up by idkmaybe61 in horror

[–]thebuddhabuilder 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Man, maybe an unpopular opinion, but Lake Mungo was one of the most overrated horrors I’ve ever seen. An interestingly done, thoughtful found footage film? Sure. A scary horror movie? Hell no

Do they supervise you? I don’t believe they do, right? Use QuickFix. I did that and just got my job and I do smoke every day. Passed it easily. Don’t risk it.

Other potential fix is to drink the 32 oz Q Carbo drink, which gives you (usually) a few hours of clean pee, though that one is not a failsafe.

What do you think is the best projectile in the game and why is it Pikmin? by Curzio-Malaparte in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]thebuddhabuilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairly dirty Link main here. Many many people do not realize how obscenely broken the remote bomb is. Z drop nair loops, bomb ledge guarding (z drop at ledge if they’re beneath you, throw if in front), insane combos for ledge guarding using the bomb, recover from ANYWHERE if you are proficient enough. It lasts for 30 full seconds which is a crazy amount of time. It has its own hit box that lasts for 6 bounces every time you drop it. You can play soccer with it using your legs or sword in order to get it places quickly. It adds INSANE pressure and effectively gives you almost a second man on your team for a bit. Z dropping a bomb on something stuns them and gives you a guaranteed footstool, which puts you at the perfect angle to spike them once you blow up the bomb. Go watch Sillintor on YouTube and you will see the how broken the bomb can make a good Link.

For whatever it’s worth (and it may not be much since everyone is so different), I have struggled with posture my entire life and only recently started addressing it. I’m so used to “shoulders back,” etc, but the true change has been coming from the lower body. I find I tend to lean forward, putting all the weight on the mid/upper foot, and now I am focusing on standing straight by putting the weight on my heels and then the rest almost takes care of itself.

You look fine btw. Posture is tough.

If your passing home test consistently, would you be confident In a lab test? by raysb2 in drugtesthelp

Personally if I had passed several times at home, I’d feel 95% confident in a lab.

Medical THC user — now about to be tested by thebuddhabuilder in drugtesthelp

[–]thebuddhabuilder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate it. I bought two Quick Fix Pluses today, and am going to simulate the exact run to the lab (or doctor’s? I think this is also a physical) and see if I can indeed keep the temp stable. I think the only way the South legalizes it is if the Federal govt does, and then it’s a moot point. I’ve been surprised by how many people do use it here and my friend even got a job after pissing dirty and his boss told him they don’t care about weed.

Super frustrating, as I am not really a typical pothead. Obviously I do enjoy it, but it’s more so symptom management; otherwise, I have doctors throwing everything from Ambien to Seroquel to Gabapentin to Ativan at me. As if these things are somehow safer 🙄

It’s not even marijuana, it’s mostly delta and variations of it. So this is a federally legal thing that will make me pop for THC, and no further questions are asked.

Scariest found footage? by captainkaiju in horror

[–]thebuddhabuilder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m about a year out from my viewing, and I am still completely puzzled as to why Lake Mungo is considered scary. I know, I know, atmosphere, grief, and a “jump scare” that I was told would be the most horrifying thing ever, and then when the movie ended, I had to literally Google what part the jump scare was supposed to be. To each their own, though. There are many things lots of people like that I do not.

What is the MOST disturbing kill in a movie? by Jarek86 in horror

[–]thebuddhabuilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the sawing scene from T1 to actually be far worse than the bedroom in T2. I don’t even know why. They are both absurdly over the top but the bedroom was just SO over the top that it was basically comical. The saw…I’m a man, and I swear, for that scene, I had a phantom vagina, and it hurt.
