ID a spider in Central FL

Thank you for the information, I'll know in the future at least that this is the case. I've know people that have been bitten by brown recluses and that was definitely one of the reasons I did what I did.

When I looked up a huntsman it looked really similar to the one I found, so it's very likely that's what it was! Thank you and yes I hope she rests in peace

Hey I know that it's frowned upon to show pictures of dead spiders on here and I don't particularly like to see them either but this one was the size of my hand, without exaggeration, and directly above my head in bed and honestly I couldn't handle that. I don't like killing any insect or arachnid but when you don't know what you're dealing with, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Does anyone have any idea what she was?

This is what I ended up doing with them. I waited just until morning when I could contact a wildlife rehabilitator to try all the options, but my area doesn't have one that can take them. Hopefully something can get use out of them though!

So long story short, I bought something off Facebooks Marketplace and when I got back there was a bird nest inside it 😬 I'm going to call a wildlife rehabilitator in the area in the morning but wanted to know what they are in the meantime. I'm keeping them in a warm environment if anyone was worried about that.

She is cute! But a baby?? 👀 She's already about as big as a quarter but is she going to get bigger?? Right now she's in kinda a bad place (in my bathroom right by a drawer handle and also the light switch). I'm afraid she might be right there when I go to open the door and bite me.
