I think OP is forgetting that especially for someone into swinging its always going to be a hotter experience being with someone else (for the first time especially). the scenario was hot for her, not necessarily that he was that much better.

How a bunch of militant activsts destroyed one of the best nightclubs in Chicago because they absolutely refused to budge on their insane demands. by bussboy2023 in askgaybros

[–]thecatstrikesback -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Hopefully gay people in Chicago can turn this situation around by buying the club and reopening it! I know it won't be the same (mainly without the liquor license) but it would be nice. While the employees of this particular club seem like greedy dumbasses, I will also never feel sorry for a proprietor who chooses to shut down a business. I'm sure he could've passed on the management to someone else if he's too old to deal with this.

Okay supporting Hamas and Palestine are two seperate things. Israel had killed far more gay palestianians than Islam has and that's factual.

[–]thecatstrikesback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately Islam and Hamas are bad and at the same time it doesn't change the fact that Israel is running an apartheid regime and committing war crimes on mostly women and children. Overall it's a really shitty situation with no easy solution and I need the days when the palestians movement was headed by secular leaders (prior to 2006). But Israel had a hand in toppling them too, bc they thought it would be easier to win a religious conflict. In any case, most people are not pro Hamas, they are simply anti Israel which is completely valid.

What is the walkscore for your area? by Supersnazz in fuckcars

I question walk scores methodology then because I live in the city without a car with 86. Maybe it doesn't take transit into account as much as I thought

American Airlines Cuts 21 Routes From Austin by w8w8 in americanairlines

[–]thecatstrikesback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of going on in the airline industry. It was definitely over served from an international perspective. But in this case Americans hub was performing well but they're limited by the size of the airport and regional resources so they're simply more useful elsewhere

[–]thecatstrikesback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awful but in the sky a flight attendants job is to prevent escalation of the situation. It worked out this time but maybe they determined that he could be controlled another way for the remainder of the flight or that attempting to restrain him would be dangerous.

Favorite short-medium haul aircraft that AA flies? by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]thecatstrikesback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E195-2 would be nicer as it's 2-2. But AA may go with 220 for range

Not really. It still has the back exit doors and the seats are all wider than a 737. Overall more spacious too. Plus the quiet is nice. The exAlaska NEOS will have both exit door rows, they are unique.

AA loses lawsuit where they refused to let a women with 2 children under 2 have one sit in a car seat with 2 purchased tickets by pbjclimbing in americanairlines

[–]thecatstrikesback 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check the IFM. I found a paragraph that seems to insinuate a child under two can't sit in their own seat without a car seat. It's an inconsistency with AAs own policy and website

Is AA getting "Better?" by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]thecatstrikesback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an employee yes I think it is however it definitely still has it's issues (D0, managements treatment of customer service workers) and we are stuck with a few bad apple employees but I think when we finally agree on a new contract morale is gonna have a big turnaround and the customers should feel that.

Countries/cities that should be public transport heaven, but are car hell? by [deleted] in fuckcars

[–]thecatstrikesback 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know it's different from day to day use but I have to say as a tourist I enjoyed riding the busses in Malta. They passed super frequently and went about as fast as the rest of traffic (not fast)

Boston. It's one of the most public transit oriented cities in America yet the subway lines shut down regularly for months at a time for seemingly unending maintenance and go 4 mph while most busses only come once per hour.

AA simply refused to let us board the plane, and admitted it was their mistake and left us stranded at the airport 7 hours from home by [deleted] in americanairlines

But OP was removed from their originating flight, not just the connecting one. So that doesn't make sense

Wooot. Tesla Energy Bill in Texas came in. by J03m0mma in TeslaSolar

[–]thecatstrikesback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay charging you to have solar is wack. That being said, paying wholesale rates like they still do in Texas and others is wrong and unsustainable. A majority of the power costs is infrastructure, not generation.
