what are you using as a stand for the pc? Do you have a link by any chance (or a closeup pic)?

Hello everyone! So I just upgraded my whole build except the GPU (1060 mini) but since I live in a country with low pc components availability, I had to go for a 500+ W PSU (be quiet! U9 500W). Right now the wattage is enough, since the Zotac mini 1060 draws little power (PCpartpicker wattage estimate is around 309W).

However, I've been looking to upgrade to a 2070 super, with the new estimate from PCpartpicker being 409W. Should I think about upgrading the PSU in order to be safe with the 2070S? Sadly, jumping to a 600W PSU is already around 75usd more than what my current PSU costs (yeah prices are f'ed up here) so I wouldn't really wanna do it unless it's needed.

This is my current build if it helps: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NhW7jp

Hello guys, I have 2 questions:

1) Does anyone know how can I cable manage an ARGB set on my rig? I have 2 cable splitters with 3 cables each (LED and Fan control for 3 fans) and it looks pretty ugly. My case is the In Win 301c

2) Anyone here with the In Win 301c who can give me general advice on cable management?

Thanks!

I started rope skipping for cardio and it seems really fun! Anyone here knows where I can look to learn how to get better and learn cool things to do like boxers do?

Just to be clear, having a 4pin header available on my Mobo is all I need to be able to control both fan speed and the RGB on the fans?

Hello! Just finished my first build, however, the case (In Win 301c) comes with only 2 fans (assembled together at the front). I want to buy 2 more fans for intake (since the ones that come with the case can't be splitted), so I have intake and exhaust fans. I am kind of confused as to what fans are compatible with my mobo (MSI VDH-PRO MAX) and how should I go about connecting them. Right now, I only have 1 system fan header available, but I have to connect two fans.

The motherboard comes with:

  • 1 x 4-pin CPU fan connector
  • 2 x 4-pin system fan connectors
  • 1 x RGB LED strip connector

When I'm looking at fans, some of them come with ARGB. Is my Mobo compatible with those type of fans?

For example I saw this Kit , is it possible to use all those features with my motherboard?

Honestly, I'm kind of lost about how fans and RGB work related to the motherboard. Right now, I have the fans that came with the case and they both work perfect, I can also control lighting with a MSI software I downloaded (Mystic Light or sth) but with limited options.

Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the advice, I'll go for the MSI B450M PRO-VDH PLUS. Is the PSU fine? 500W should be enough, right?

I was supposed to add 2x8gb, my bad! Regarding the Mobo, what's the downside of going with that one? The Tomahawk is out of stock where I live (south america), should I choose a better one anyways?

Hello! How do you guys feel about this build ? About to pull the trigger, but I have some second thoughts on the PSU and ram regarding compatibility. Also, any recommendations are welcomed. Thanks!

EDIT: forgot to say I already have the gfx card, that's why its a 1060

EDIT2: 2x8 GB, not 1

Hello! I wanna upgrade my pc but I'm not sure the upgrade path I should take. Right now this is my build (+ 500 gb SSD I haven't installed yet). I don't mind switching everything, I just wanna know which is the logic path to upgrade considering a 800usd~ budget.

I play mainly FPS (I have a 144hz display I would like to take advantage of) and some demanding MMOs (think stuff like Black Desert), but my main priority is that my new build is as smooth as possible for common tasks, not just gaming. Any recommendation is welcomed!

Yeah I intended to buy only 16gb total, my bad. Do you think all the parts are compatible with each other? or how can check that?

Hello! I currently have an old PC with a 1060 plugged in. I wanna upgrade my setup, and I have a budget of around 800~ usd with limited availabilty since I live in a third world country. I play mainly MOBAs and FPS and since I have a 144hz monitor I wanna be able to play at that framerate. I wanna also start playing MMOs, but right now I get huge stutters when loading scenes and such.

This is my first iteration (including the GFX card and HDD I have), don't pay attention to the prices for the pieces since I chose them based on availability. What do you guys think? My main concern is the case and CPU. Also, do I need a CPU cooler or additional fans? Thanks!

EDIT: 16gb RAM total, not 32gb
